Used to be Great!! But now that they have moved into Scilla we will never go again. Have no use for Scillys they are a rip off as I stated in my review of them. Sorry to lose JJWillys
Vegetarian options: Outstanding veggie omelette
Took 2.5hrs from the time we were seated to when we left/paid. Waitress was nice/friendly, however everything else seemed like a hot mess. No refills on coffee/water after asking, took forever to get the bill. Food quality was ok, but definitely not worth the wait.
Great service, great food, reasonable prices. Love the breakfast and lunch all day option because it makes everybody happy. I love breakfast foods, my boyfriend doesn’t, so there were perfect options for both of us. Chili Lime Shrimp tacos were stuffed full and cooked beautifully. BYO Breakfast skillet was flavorful and fantastic. Definitely have enough left for breakfast tomorrow too! Coffee was great too.
Such a great little diner! The slight wait on the food was probably due to just one poor guy cooking, but, MAN did he do a great job on our breakfasts. My veggie omelet was huge and fluffy and filled to the brim with beautifully sautéed veggies and my husband's skillet was hard not to steal food from. The bacon had to have been local. And whoever picked the 80s punk music gets my highest level of approval. Thank you for the food!
We arrived at 1155 there was only one table of 6 and a table of 2 we were sat given menus and gave the server our drink order. We waited 15 minutes for drinks to arrive during this time 3 more tables were sat. We ordered our food she wrote it all down we waited for over a hour to get our food but every other table around us go their food before us. Once the food arrived none of it was correct and one was cold. Waited another 10 minutes to get the what was messed up still had to go to the counter to get two more things she forgot. Talked to the manager at the end and all they offered was 20% off two of the meals. This was our first time here needless to say we won’t be back.
Went to JJ Willys this past Saturday. It is located in Union City shopping plaza in Blairsville. The same plaza as Verizon and AT&T cell phone store. Parking was plentiful. Upon entering you walk up to the counter to place your order if you are getting takeout but if dining inside, someone will take you to a table...we got Drew (he did a great job!). The interior is done in a tasteful nautical theme with blue walls.J.J. Willis used to be a lunch-dinner seafood place but earlier this year changed direction to a breakfast-lunch burger/salad/sandwiches/Street tacos (for the lunch menu) and an omelette/personal skillet/sweets (that means French toast, pancakes, waffles, etc.) kind of place. Check out my menu pics to see for yourself since the menu is loaded with good things. My wife ordered the country ham w/ hash browns (al la carte for $4.49 for ham & $2.99 for hash browns) and I had the Classic Double Cheeseburger ($10.99) with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. It says 'with mayo' on the menu but mayo, ketchup, and mustard is on the table in squeeze bottles. The burger is advertised as a smash burger. Most smashburgers I have had are thin and have a hard seared crust particularly on the edges. This was not a thin crispy edged smashburger but was a thicker, ridiculously juicy, cheesy flavor bomb on a brioche bun!!! Paired with Mexican Corn (savory cooked corn off the Cobb with spices and seasonings) as a side. This is some serious high end cooking and props go to the chef for the menu choices. My wife liked her country ham but thought the hash browns could been a little more crispy. She said next time she will make sure to tell them extra crispy.Hours are listed as 6:30 a.m. -2 p.m.I highly recommend this place. It is a step above.
We arrived with a party of six and they quickly found a place for us. The restaurant was busy with the after-church crowd and it's very loud in the dining room. The offer both breakfast and lunch items. My parents ate there the day before and the stuffed French toast my mom ordered was huge. I had an egg breakfast which came as ordered. I asked for honey for my biscuit because it isn't on the table. The women's restroom was clean. We would definitely return for another meal.
We waited well over an hour for our food and 3/4 plates were wrong. First our daughter ordered chicken tacos and got shrimp which she is allergic to. 2nd my wife ordered a salad with salmon and it wasn’t even salmon it was some sort of white fish and tasted old. 3rd I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and when I received it there wasn’t even buffalo sauce on it. We were all sick that afternoon which could have been coincidental but I’m doubting it based on the rest of our experience.
My husband and I had breakfast here on Valentines day. We both enjoyed the french toast, which was delicious, light and fluffy..some bacon, and great fresh brewed coffee. Everything I noticed that came out of the kitchen, past us, looked delicious. Our waiter, Drew was great. We will definitley be back.
it was out first time, Eating there, We ordered a hamburger with fries, And a fish sandwich with fries, It took thirty minutes to get our food, And the food wasn't that good

So a shout out to the all new JJ Willy's Breakfast & Lunch. If you ever dined there before you know their food has been solid since day 1. Being a restaurant owner in this economy, where unemployment in our area is at an all time low and finding staff is just tough, means you have to adjust. I have nothing but good reviews for this updated gameplan which allows for a daytime staff. Here is what you can expect. Dang good food. The chef knows breakfast. He knows burgers. And he can do a great fish taco. If you loved the staples, you will still find them. A triple decker hand pattied burger with avacado, bacon, and jalapeño ranch is a favorite of my husband’s and with good reason. I am a fan of the mango salsa on their blackened mahi-mahi fish taco. It’s just consistently good. But now, they have added all day breakfast, and it is worthy of your next brunch visit. The stuffed french toast is stacked at least five inches high. Slathered in your cheese of berries, caramelized on the outside and filled with gooey cream cheese on the inside, it is arguably one of the best local French toasts I have had. The home fries? Ok. I did a stint in Canada where homefries are fresh, never frozen, and you know a counterfeit if it is perfectly uniform. These spuds are scratch made in house. They are golden and crisp on the outside and piping hot, creamy potato on the inside. Pro tip: Ask them to add mushrooms, onions or peppers. They will be happy to. Now for the biscuit and gravy. I have been baking biscuits for a long time, and I know a frozen biscuit. I also know gravy that isn’t scratch made. The gravy is on point. It is seriously good. Not too peppery. Not too milky. Not watery. Just right. If you are a meat lover, you will love this gravy. It is full of sausage. And the biscuit was at least two, maybe three inches tall and the size of a small saucer. Here’s the bottom line—JJ’s is putting out solid food. You can order ahead, take to go, or dine in. Expect quality, house made ingredients in a casual, unassuming environment. If you still love a burger, you will love their generous portions and array of options. Want a salad? Try their caprese salmon and homemade balsamic. Fridays are fish fries which will satisfy the fish and chips lovers. Go eat there. You won’t be disappointed. And be kind. Businesses in our community give back in a thousand ways. Live local. Love local.
The best breakfast in town!! I got a HUGE sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and the best fried grit balls I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and quick, even at 6 am. Will definitely be back since I was able to get such good meal quickly for an unbelievably low price.
No one greeted at door saw several tables dirty a couple walked out for not getting waited on. We left as no one came out to seat us.
