I was nearby and so happy they had some vegan options. The seared tofu and butternut squash. Tacos were amazing. The friendly staff and laid-back environment was a plus. I will definitely return when I’m in the area.

Overall we’ve been very pleased. My bf really did not like the chorizo tacos, I thought the tofu taco could’ve been seasoned better and it can be pricy to eat there, however, we LOVED the shrimp tacos, grilled chicken tacos & blackened mahi tacos I think they were. Also, their chips and dip are super good! Last time we got the trio where you can enjoy salsa, guacamole and cheese dip with the chips. Delicious! Also the sweet tea is great! Their frozen margarita’s are great! I think the white peach one, was our fave. And each time we were waited on in a timely fashion by very nice servers!

The variety of tacos offered here is amazing. This is the highlight of the place.

Now the negative. I never like it when a Mexican restaurant charges for chips and salsa -- they do. Also, with a bar located right in the main dining room, we did not feel comfortable with the loud, inebriated customers (it was near closing time).

However, the main problem we had was that our group was charged a mandatory 20% tip based on the price BEFORE Monday's BOGO taco discount, which resulted in a nearly 40% tip. At that point, we could have gone to another Mexican establishment for cheaper (even with the special). The lesson is, there's no real deal on Mondays for groups of seven or more, even with the BOGO special. They're going to get their money one way or the other. When I inquired about this, a stone-faced manager accused me of not wanting to give the server what she deserved! So much for a friendly "thanks for your patronage" as you leave.

They charge 3% for credit card purchases, and that's another issue. This is NOT a good place for a "penny pincher" like me.

We went to lucky's on Monday for the buy one get one free taco special. The tacos were good and the server was nice, But when we got done eating, we wondered why our bill was SO high. After asking the manager about the high bill we figured out that they had charged us 20% gratuity Automatically because we were a group of more than seven. but after we examined the receipt further we realized that the gratuity was actually 40%. We asked the manager why we were charged a 40% gratuity, and the manager told us that this was because the the gratuity was calculated based on the price before the discount. We told the manager that we did not think that we should have to pay the 40% gratuity. In response to this she acted like we were being mean to the server by not giving her a 40% gratuity. After failing to give in to the manager's guilttripping. I think that She finally agreed to only charge us 20% gratuity, but I do not know for certain because before we could see the final receipt she threw it in the trash. I wonder how many people have been charged a 40% gratuity without knowing it? We will probably not come back because the manager was mean and smart with us when we questioned the 40% gratuity.

Very cute place in the middle of downtown blairsville. We came in after lunch time, around 2:30pm. BOGO taco Monday, we were told.

We ordered the corn dip as an appetizer, which was hot and a 10/10. Highly recommend and made us super excited to order food since that was so good.

We ordered 4 tacos each since it was BOGO. That’s where the disappointment started. The birra taco was super cold and dry- I couldn’t even finish my first bite. The grouper didn’t even have any grouper, it was this little sliver slapped in the middle of breading that was super salty. The shrimp taco was cold and the carne asada was super cold and tough. We also order rice and beans and a side of fries which was cold.
We aren’t ones to complain or return food because we know small business lose money that way, so we just let it be.

Until we got our bill. Any party over 6 is automatic 20% gratuity and not based on your final total, it’s based on your total before the BOGO. So it ended up being an almost $20 tip on a $43 meal. I’m a great tipper, but half of then cost of my actual meal is ridiculous. I’ll tip 20% on the before total if I used a coupon, but not if the place where I’m eating is running a special.

It gets better, the moment we all paid with our 20% auto gratuity. The servers whole demeanor changed, when she realized we weren’t leaving additional tip on top of the 20% she already got from our pre discount totals. At one point a table topper with the information fell on the floor and she picked it
Up and slammed it on the table and then walked away. We definitely will not be returning.

Cute restaurant, food was good but very expensive considering it's a Mexican restaurant. We had a large party but tried to make it easy on them by doing a simple order and it was 2 PM, basically an empty restaurant. The server was sweet but when she got all our orders wrong, she didn't seem to care. She asked if we wanted them to remake them but implied that would really be a pain for her. I mean, I do want my order to be correct. It's customary to remind a guest of any upcharge (extra $1 for this or that) which she didn't do, so we were shocked at the large bill and 20% auto-grat. Considering she didn't refill our waters or correct our orders, I didn't think she deserved that. As we were settling up, I asked a bartender to refill our waters (handed her my cup as I was very thirsty and annoyed that my server couldn't be found in the empty restaurant), and the bartender slammed my cup down, fake smiled and said "your server will be right with you." This was the last straw for me so I went to the manager and told her what happened. The first thing the manager said was that she knew our server was hoping to go home. OK... Then she said she (the manager) had just arrived. OK... Then she said the auto-grat is customary for a large party. Again, ok, but my issue is that the service was poor and didn't warrant this tip. I told her about the rude bartender and the manager just said, "oh, no, that's not ok." That was it. No comp, no corrected tip. I'm sorry it was such a bad experience as we did enjoy the food. Our server was actually fine- I understand wanting to go home and it wasn't that bad until the bartender. Even with the mess-ups we would have tipped 18%. I feel frustrated that she treated us like she didn't trust us to compensate her (not pointing out the upcharges), and then didn't give us service worthy of what she was charging us. Even that is understandable. The manager should have made it right but she did nothing.

This is a typical taco/bar establishment. The food comes fast and hot. A tad noisey though.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to get into the dining area. It is a little steep, though.

If you find yourself traveling though Blairsville — you need to make a stop at Lucky’s. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a good while. Service was fast and top notch. Highly reccomend the torto and fried pork skins appetizer.
