We recently had the great pleasure of buying 2 meals from papaw's BBQ. The brisket and the chicken. Both were moist and loaded with flavor. Papaw's sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and hot. The beans and coleslaw were excellent too.

We also enjoyed shopping in the store. We bought one piece of furniture. We will be back for more BBQ and furniture.

Love us some Papaw's. Delicious juicy brisket and pulled pork. His BBQ sauces are amazing .Pineapple creamy coleslaw! Grandma's potatoe salad. These are the sweetest local people. And boy can you smell and see the smoke!! We love to come to Ga and support the locals! We are true bar b quer's and this is the real deal!!

This place is like a barbecue stand. We parked and walked up onto the patio with our dog, ordered the food, and left. It was delicious and we will be getting food there again.

Delicious bbq brisket and great conversation with PaPaw himself! Baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad were all great! Even the sweet tea was delicious!

We visited a few days ago and had the pulled pork, potato salad, coleslaw, and Brunswick stew. BBQ was fair (3 star), wife said coleslaw was good (4 star), but the Brunswick stew was *awful* - the worst I've ever had. It reminded me of pureed baby food that had been run through a blender - totally gross.

Very disappointing experience.

Papaw’s has the best barbecue in Georgia. They are also the friendliest people that you would want to meet. Papaw always has a big smile and kind words. You won’t have a better barbecue experience anywhere.

I LOVE Papaw's! Only get to visit a couple times a year but make sure I go there every time! Best Ribs anywhere! Papa always remembers me too. Such a great man and Mrs. Is always so sweet!

Got the pork platter, cole slaw, and Brunswick stew. Pork was super tender, melts in your mouth.
Cole slaw was very good, similar to the colonel’s.
The Brunswick stew was great but not quite how I like mine. It was quite good though. Don was very polite and friendly. Service was fast and a great team. I will be back soon for the ribs.

Greatest BBQ I’ve ever had. Don and Debbie are super nice folks as well.

Best BBQ in North Georgia and Western NC. I had the ribs, pulled pork and brisket. They were all incredible.
