Met friends here for dinner. We had a blast!!! The outside back porch was perfect for our group. The food was DELICIOUS! Out waitresses were awesome!!!

Nice place! But the purple haired bull ring girl server completely messed everything up for me. My wife loved her food, me lol it started with a margarita asked for no salt on the rim and it was smothered ok no biggie asked for a cheeseburger plain just cheese please, yeah it was smothered in everything and medium well was a shoe.. OK no biggie..hey would you like fries with your burger? Yes please, ok sweet potatoe fries came out and man I don't like them just wanted regular fries ok no biggie...yeah I'm not going back lol.

We recently visited this charming restaurant offering local cuisine, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The highlight of the meal was the river trout — incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicately seasoned. You can tell they really know how to prepare fish here.
The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were always available when needed, without being intrusive.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that reflects the local character. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal in comfort.

What a gem in Blairsville! The Flying Trout has such a great atmosphere tucked into a cozy cabin community. I loved the Mercier cider on draft and the Fly8 Trout dinner was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the BBQ Pile sandwich and it was just as fabulous. One of the highlights for me was seeing a Veteran POW table set up in honor of our vets — such a meaningful touch that shows the heart of this place.
We will definitely be back and I highly recommend The Flying Trout for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We picked the smoked trout dip appetizer, and I picked a pimento cheese and bacon sandwich on potato bread! Everything was delicious!

Decent food but horribly slow service. Our last 2 visits had a wait time of 50 minutes and 1:15 minutes from the time we ordered until the food arrived. And that's for a simple hamburger. On both occasions they said it was due to being under staffed. We won't be back. The manager/owners obviously care nothing about timely service and only want to keep the labor costs to a minimum. We will just continue going to The View where the food is just as good and the service is far superior.

Took a friend there for the first time and not only was the food great but the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful!! Will definitely return as I am a local and they made me look good!!

This place is tucked away and you wouldn't even know it's back in a residential area unless you go looking for it, but it's a must see! 😍 The building and ambiance are absolutely beautiful. They have a large indoor dining area, bar area, and outdoor back patio seating with a beautiful view of the creek. The food and service were excellent. My mom and I sat outside because it was a nice evening, and we both got The Flying Trout dish. I'm looking forward to going back with the rest of our family!

Just don’t bother going here the food is not good and the cook doesn’t know how to even make a Caesar dressing properly. Was my husbands birthday. Server was bad she rushed then would walk away when we were trying to ask for something. We asked for booth she said yes and then sat us at a table w chairs. I guess she doesn’t know what a booth means. Never offered coffee or desserts. Meatloaf was dry as hell and gross. The onion rings on top weren’t even cooked bc once again they rush and obviously turned the fryer off an hour before they close. I should have sent it back, I didn’t even eat it. No seasoning in any food. The grits were the best thing we ate there. Menu description says what youll get but then a sauce or food item is missing when they serve it to you. They tell you one thing and then mean the opposite. We dined at 8pm. If your restaurant is open until 9pm then you act accordingly.. don’t rush guests bc you want to get wasted at 8:30 on the dot. Idiots. Owner was slamming wine in plain site. Lol unbelievable. They rush you so that the employees can get drunk w the cooks and owners right in front of guest. Very unprofessional and bizarre. Over priced and not good food at all. I left a horrible tip ( my husband said not to leave any tip at all) and I’m a server myself which I never leave bad tips!! Stay away.

We had a very large group. Single waitress was not enough to handle 22 orders and the kitchen did not get them out in a timely manner. Many were finished before others got served. Everyone's fish and chips were cold. Smash burgers looked like the better choice that day.

where to begin. New owner Denise is rockin' it - 5 star friendly service, great menu (smash burger thurs and fish/chips friday). special events. Dueling pianos last night (7/22) was packed with great music, fun people! A neat little gift shop too👍❤️🎉

What a great event tonight at the flying trout. The dueling piano guys from Atlanta are off the chart so much fun had by all. We had a party of 14 and all our meals came out nice and hot and the meals were very good, love our local bar with great events in our Hood thanks for a good show.
