Great place for all things southern fried. I love the drive. It’s 30 minutes from Dothan, out in the middle of nowhere, and gives the family time to hangout without being so far away the kids start asking are we there yet. Great service. Just small so be prepared to wait on a busy night.

What a delightful little hide away. The atmosphere is charmingly rustic and the owner is very friendly and attentive. I had the fried shrimp, baked potato and dinner salad. My husband had the hamburger steak with gravy and sauteed onions. It also came with the potato and dinner salad. Everything but the salads was delicious. The salads weren't anything special. They don't have a bar but a limited selection of beer and wine is available for the asking. It's important to note that it's cash or check only.

I'm so disappointed it took us 6 years of living in the area to find this gem! So good! We had the ribeye and fried seafood platter. Both were delicious but that steak is just something special. Great service, cute location. Bring cash!

Food and service was exceptional. Only way to pay is cash or check. No cards accepted.
We got a catfish plate, fish was barely breaded, only 2 hush puppies came with order and were greasy and salty. Side order of salad was chopped up iceberg lettuce with 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of red onion lying on top of each other with about a 1/4 cup of dressing on it. Never got drink refills . Also you have to pay with cash or check so be ready. On a positive note a side order of onion rings was good, a whole dinner plate filled with onion rings.Probably should’ve taken pictures, won’t go back.

Maybe it was just an off night for the Log Cabin but this was the worst food I've had in a long time. My husband and I both ordered the pick your own seafood platter and our plates were piled high with over cooked inedible seafood. Even the baked potato wasn't good. Barely warm enough to melt the butter. We would have liked to tell our server about the issue but nobody asked how our meal was after it was served. We won't be back

This was the last time I'll ever go there. We went there and sit for a long time which that would have been ok,but after getting our name on the list for 1 hour. 2 guys came up about 20 minutes after us they was call in to be seated. So we left. That was not right for them to treat us like we was not even there. So disappointed in the own Nancy. The color of your skin should not have anything to do with your service especially when you are a paying customer
