“seen it while walking around the square. so me an my wife tried it. I got the hamburger steak which is off the chain. Absolutely delicious. my wife on the other hand got the grilled chicken breast. very small in size. she said it was good but really dry. (so get plenty of tea) which is also good. good home cooking,reasonable price,waitress was very good an polite. nice an clean. Good experience,we will be back.”

“Great family restaurant…food was excellent. Cold ketchup , they do not leave it on the table like most restaurants. Home-fries & handmade patty melts and burgers grilled your way. It’s a little hard to find there’s not a big sign out front. It’s a family owned and operated business with a hometown feel.”

“We had Blakely Chicken cater my father’s memorial service (he had it any time he was in town). Everything was super hot and fresh. They even made sure to have a pan of green beans with no meat for our vegetarian guests. We planned for 75 and there was more than enough! We ordered fried chicken, Mac N cheese, green beans, and banana pudding. There were many second helpings and to go boxes made. Highly recommend Blakely Chicken for your catering needs. Even though we ordered off their regular menus, I was assured they would cook anything I needed or wanted.”

“A little out of the way but well worth the drive. The owners Gene and Nancy are wonderful hosts. Get there early or be prepared to wait a bit. The clientele seem to be regulars or at least locals and it is just a very intimate setting. Nancy has done a great job with the decor. It is quite interesting and worth your while to try and see everything. I'm not sure how to describe it; from Americana to Eclectic. But the food is FANTASTIC. We had the ribeye and seafood platter and you're not going find a better steak around SE Alabama or SW Georgia. The tartar sauce and ranch dressing were very good and they make their own ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Balance Blakely is a hidden gem! I was searching for a local place I could do some work and grab something healthy and this place popped up. I’m so glad I stopped in! The first person I met when I came in was so helpful. I got the caramel macchiato coffee shake and it was so good! On my way out, I met the owner and I loved our conversation and her vision for the place! Can’t wait to come back ❤️”
