“Eaten here many times, lunch and dinner. Always consistent. We are Mexican food snobs so hard to get a 5 star from us but El Leon for a small town restaurant in these parts is a step above the other eateries in town, and holds there own among the good Mexican restaurants in the area. Service is always prompt. Atmosphere is basic. A local favorite.”

“The Frances is not really worth what you pay for it. One scoop of chicken salad and greens for $7.50. It’s delicious but not for the money when you can get a scoop of chicken salad, a scoop of pimento cheese, and a scoop of the salad of the day for $0.49 more. Overall super happy with the taste though. I definitely recommend the Sampler over this.”
