Eat here quite often when I worked in the area. I don't know what had happened, everything left a lot to be desired.Food does not pop like it used to. Also price gouging

Food was terrible and they are very slow. Not worth it given the prices as well.

Good food and a great photo opportunity when sitting on the pig out front.

These were by far the worst ribs I have ever eaten. The point of smoking meat is to break down the fat so the meat is tender. They had some crazy thick rub, which if I had to guess, would be to distract you from the chewy meat. The Brunswick stew tasted like chili with corn. The coleslaw was spicy and lacked real flavor. I was hoping it would be good as I am in the area every week. You couldn’t pay me to eat there again. The people were nice, but they know the deal. They only have to be nice this one time because you won’t be back.

Food was extremely dry and overpriced. 2 stars because they had football on the TV.

We loved the pork ribs, they were delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food arrived quickly.

We stopped for lunch while in Blue Ridge. We ordered the half rack of ribs and a brisket plate. The brisket was extremely dry and literally had no flavor at all. We threw all but one slice away. The ribs were okay but also not seasoned at all. The collard greens and macaroni salad were good but the Cole slaw tasted old and the macaroni and cheese was cold. The staff was friendly but I did have to wait a good while before anyone acknowledged me and took my order. We probably would not eat here again after spending $50 for such a mediocre meal.

Unfortunately, we passed by this little gold mine several times before stopping. We appreciate the cleanliness and tasty food from this cute little Mother and Son restaurant. The pitmaster really knows his stuff!! And the homemade sides were very tasty. 😋

Food was pretty pricey and honestly bland. We ate here five years ago on a visit to Blue Ridge and I don’t remember it being like this. I know food prices have gone up, but I don’t think we’ll be returning here.

Had the pulled pork, brisket & ribs. Pork was good, brisket was moist and fatty, ribs were very dry. Coleslaw was ok and tots with chicken was good.
Very disappointed by the ribs.
