BumbleBee's Cafe Blue Ridge

Waited over 40 minutes for food and when it finally arrived, it was cold. No coffee refills, no drink refills, and no check-ins from staff during the long wait. For a breakfast place, service and timing were unacceptable. Not worth the money — plenty of better options nearby.

Waited 10-15mins to sit. Sat at table for 20 mins no service on Sunday with kids on a cold day. Not even drinks.
Sign on door said short staffed. Not one care in the world from staff.
Not very clean.
Very poorly managed.
No excuse for zero effort.

Casual dining but a good breakfast and lunch menu. . Two of us had breakfast items, 2 lunch sandwiches. Everyone thought the food was really good. Service was also great

Walked in today and waited by the counter to be seated or see if it is seat yourself. An employee came up to checkout a customer and left without acknowledging us. We waited for a few more minutes and left when no one came. I understand being short staffed but we should have been acknowledged. From other reviews this seems to be on ongoing issue.

Down to earth little mom and pop café. Breakfast was great. Coffee was delicious. Glad we found this place while in town.

Cute diner with bumble bee theme but it was a long wait for a table and they weren’t busy. The food was ok overall but not worth it for the price in my opinion. They also had the worst grits I’ve ever tasted in my life. Our server wasn’t very friendly and had to be covered by another server several times.

genuinely appalled at the service we received today from lisa. while the younger dark-haired hostess or waitress who greeted us upon entry was friendly, kind, and understanding at both entry and exit, lisa’s service left much to be desired. throughout the duration of the hour we were there waiting for our order, it was impossible to get her to glance at us or get her attention. when one member of our party asked about the bread selection for the sandwich they had ordered, lisa responded with “it’s on the menu” with a nasty tone, and when we were unable to immediately locate it, she flipped the menu over and tapped her finger on it impatiently, dragging it across the area where the bread could be found. she tossed our sauces down on the table without so much as a look in our direction, and made sure to keep us waiting for the rest of our order. it’s worth noting that while she treated us with borderline disdain, she seemed to acquire a whole other personality when interacting with both kitchen staff and patrons who seemed to be familiar with her. if you’d like to experience small town dining with exactly none of the charm, please be sure to go to bumblebee’s cafe at blue ridge and ask for lisa, specifically.

I never give reviews and I do not complain. This place was awful service sucked. Our waitress was rude. We spent over $50 on 2 cups of oatmeal and two omelettes. The omelettes were literally maybe two eggs if that they could fit in the palm of your hand it was awful. If you want to get full, don’t come here and if you wanna go a cup of coffee, don’t get it here cause it taste like water.

Love the banana nut pancakes.

We didn't get to there. Lines were extremely long. But there was a note on the door saying they were short staffed. We had 2 littles with us and they were ready to eat right then. But will go back when we are back in town.

Super long wait to be seated. Super long wait for the food to arrive. And when it did arrive, my pancakes were undercooked!

Kathie was on point.
