Iron Bridge Cafe & General Store

Staff was very pleasant and polite. The Cafe was like an old country style which went well with the surrounding environment being in the mountains. I would recommend.

Great place to grab a meal after a nearby waterfall hike. Cheese steak and cheeseburger were excellent. Fresh cut fries was an added bonus.

Great place for a quick bite and it has all your last minute needs since you're already there you might as well go tubing

We wanted to use their restroom, that was a no since we were not dining. Had planned to get drinks and snacks after tubing, sure wasn't going to do it before, but we decided to go elsewhere after getting out of the river.

There are lots of activities in this area. And, while you are in the area or before you leave, enjoy coffee, a muffin, or even a cooked to order meal at the Iron Bridge Cafe and General Store. We will be returning to the Cafe just for the breakfast selections.

My parents had the same experience today as Christian Pirkle one year ago. After spending some time in the shop and spending money for ice cream, they were denied use of the bathroom. They were told it was out of order and told to use the porta potty across the street. After seeing other (white) people being given a key to use the bathroom, they asked again. The lady behind the counter said my parents needed to have bought food from the restaurant to use the bathroom. After the flip flopping of reasons given, and noting others were given the key to use the bathroom, there is no doubt in our mind it was based on the color of their skin (brown). No need to patronize this shop with this kind of racism.

We stopped by for lunch and had the catfish sandwich and double BLT. Everything was delicious and delicious and fair priced. Also- in the little bear cave shop they had artisan soap for under $5!

Great little country store. Restaurant is good , especially if just finished a few hours on the river. Nice people on staff!

Chicken wings & fries were actually really delicious. It was all served hot & at the same time. Service could have been more polite like the rest of the area. The salad had very old & wet lettuce.

Perfect little spot right by where we were staying. Very sweet people

So many things to do in this area! The general store had a restaurant, bakery and shop. We tried a reeces cookie and it was amazing! Next to the café is a gem mining place and across from it is a tubing company. They are all owned and operated by the same family, who are wonderful people! We will be back to go tubing later in the week. Make sure to stop in and visit this small town gem.
