My fiancé and I stopped here to grab a quick bite for lunch. We ordered tacos for takeout and they were incredible. If you love birriatacos and street tacos, definitely try this place! The service was also amazing. I had a nice conversation with one of the servers while we waited on our takeout order. She gave us recommendations on other spots in the area and was super nice. Be sure to give this spot a try if you are in Blue Ridge.

Has a lot of potential, but needs to work through some issues to be good. As a few others have pointed out, it is partly self-service. Self-service is fine in concept, but the part you need a server for, they are nowhere to be seen. The young semi-redheaded girl serving us today needs a lot of customer service coaching. Food was good but not great. We live in the area and will probably go back at some point, but with lower expectations than we went in with this time. I would encourage the owners to really focus on customer service and having the servers come by and check on the customers. I had been working hard in the yard on a very hot day and would probably have had several drinks from the bar had I had an actual server, so missed revenue there.

Nice change from the average. Food was fresh made. Not the usual warmed up supplier offerings usually offered at this price point. Nice to see a family restaurant determined to start a business and be successful at the heels of a pandemic.

After reading the reviews, we had to try it out. Definitely not disappointed! Amazing food, nice staff & large portions.

OMG! ❤️ Absolutely the best Mexican/Salvadoran food! Shocked to find this, in this small town. You must try this while here. You will not be disappointed. I think I just found a new favorite spot. Don't ask me what I had. I couldn't tell you. But, what I can tell you is... it was so dang good! See ya next week.

Pokito's is an amazing family run business. The owner took our order and her dad is cooking in the back. Self serve drink cooler with all sorts of choices. Many I have never seen before, but both that I tried were amazing! Go for the guava or papaya if they have it! The fried goodies they gave for a snack ad we decided was a nice touch too. The salsa bar is amazing! So many choices and options. Burrito amazing and huge! Soup amazing! Their empanadas were amazing! Everything was amazing! Thank you and see you all soon!

New restaurant; great appetizers; good portions in food; excellent prices; I really like that they have a salsas bar!! More of 10 different salsas!!Evelyn was super nice, definitely I will back soon. Attention: is not 100% Mexican, is a fusion or mix of Mexican/Salvatorian... even though is a good fusion, mix ??

Delicious hidden gem in Blue Ridge that’s actually open on a Monday! Must try and support this business! Great prices, very friendly, great food and big portions! Super excited to have this place in this little town!

We’ve been to this place several times and it is always great!! The food is authentic and delicious and the service is wonderful! Very friendly people. The prices are great for the amount of food you get! I would highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Mexican/salvidorian experience!…also if you enjoy margaritas the strawberry margarita with tajin and chamoy is DELICIOUS!!

We stopped in here for a quick bite and WOW! I must say the food was awesome! So full of flavor and the salsa bar added the perfect touch not to mention the service was great! You wont regret eating here! We will definitely be back!

Tasty food, great service! Not your average Mexican place. A fusion of American, Mexican and El Salvadoran!Great change up from the usual places around town.

The food was fantastic and much more than I expected. The queso appetizer has grilled onions and bell peppers - delicious!! The Cali Burrito is huge, grilled, and very tasty.

I would give a 10 out of 5 if I could.We ordered to go, absolutely loved the birria tacos, consume had good flavor. I can’t wait to go back and try the pesole i have been trying to find a good one!

Went in for an early dinner and I got the birria tacos with ramen and my daughter got cheese papusas. I enjoyed my meal and I enjoyed that they didn’t make the birria consommé too spicy ( I LOVE SPICE but I know not everyone does) and you can add your own hot sauce if you want more heat. My daughter is super picky and I think she thought the papusas would be more like a quesadilla (I explained they’re not but she got them anyhow) but she still liked them. We will come back for sure. Looking forward to trying other items. Staff was all very friendly and the food was hot when it came out.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The location is super convenient for Blue Ridge residents and visitors. The staff was awesome and the food came out quickly. And it was SO. DANG. TASTY! The free chicharrones at the beginning were irresistible, the birria was so tender and flavorful, and the pupusa was an authentic Salvadoran delight. We can't wait to go again and try more off the menu!!
