My fiancé and I stopped here to grab a quick bite for lunch. We ordered tacos for takeout and they were incredible. If you love birriatacos and street tacos, definitely try this place! The service was also amazing. I had a nice conversation with one of the servers while we waited on our takeout order. She gave us recommendations on other spots in the area and was super nice. Be sure to give this spot a try if you are in Blue Ridge.

Has a lot of potential, but needs to work through some issues to be good. As a few others have pointed out, it is partly self-service. Self-service is fine in concept, but the part you need a server for, they are nowhere to be seen. The young semi-redheaded girl serving us today needs a lot of customer service coaching. Food was good but not great. We live in the area and will probably go back at some point, but with lower expectations than we went in with this time. I would encourage the owners to really focus on customer service and having the servers come by and check on the customers. I had been working hard in the yard on a very hot day and would probably have had several drinks from the bar had I had an actual server, so missed revenue there.

Nice change from the average. Food was fresh made. Not the usual warmed up supplier offerings usually offered at this price point. Nice to see a family restaurant determined to start a business and be successful at the heels of a pandemic.

We love this place. We have been going regularly since they opened and the food is always amazing and the service friendly. Best margaritas in town by far. Fresh food that is a good value. We will continue to frequent this restaurant!

PoKito's was getting a lot of buzz on the local 411 website, so I checked it out. First, this is not the Tex-Mex food we're used to. I hope that this fact doesn't turn people against it because the food and the service are both very good. Our hostess / server was warm and accommodating. The restaurant itself was clean. We went for a late lunch on Sunday, so the place was not crowded. Our server brought us a basket of chicharrones, which are a tasty alternative to chips. She didn't bring us salsa or beverages, but indicated the salsa bar and the beverage cooler. The cooler had a nice selection of sodas which included several varieties of Jarritos. My husband ordered Birria tacos, and I had the Takonmadre. My dish was three tacos - one each of pastor (pork), asado (beef), and chorizo. They were served with onions, cilantro, and lime wedges on flour tortillas (no cheese). My husband's Birria tacos smelled wonderful. According to him, that's how they tasted as well. His was served with some vegetables for garnish and a cup of consomme. Please note that neither meal was served with the ubiquitous rice and beans offered by other restaurants. There was no "side dishes" section on the menu, so I'm not sure if they're available or not. We also ordered some Queso Fundido, which was also delicious - molten cheese with chorizo, peppers, onions, and mushrooms served with corn chips. The price was very reasonable for the two of us. Yes, we plan to stop by again, especially since we bought a house nearby and plan to spend a lot of time in the area.

We came in after a long hike to get fresh tacos. The first woman I spoke with had trouble understanding me, I wanted a table for 3 adults and 2 kids. There was a language barrier, this is an authentic Mexican restaurant which we were hopeful for. It was my fault for not knowing the word for adult in Spanish, she kept thinking I was saying dog and told us we could not come in til she realized we didn't have a dog. The language barrier was not an issue for me but the woman's attitude was. She was very annoyed and I felt bad. We ended up seating ourselves and waited twenty minutes for menus. After we got the menus another girl came over and she was much more friendly. She took our order and told us how to get salsa from the salsa bar and drinks. A friend of mine ordered margaritas but they looked like juice with ice. She said they tasted good. The queso is a white plain queso, similar to what you'd find in a jar. It was disappointing. The tacos everybody had were delicious and tasted fresh. Some come with onions and cilantro. There are multiple sauces at the salsa bar to try. The restaurant was not very clean but the food was good. I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable about how the food was prepared given the woman's attitude and the dirty lobby/tables. I still think we would come back if we were in town.

Pokito's is an amazing family run business. The owner took our order and her dad is cooking in the back. Self serve drink cooler with all sorts of choices. Many I have never seen before, but both that I tried were amazing! Go for the guava or papaya if they have it! The fried goodies they gave for a snack ad we decided was a nice touch too. The salsa bar is amazing! So many choices and options. Burrito amazing and huge! Soup amazing! Their empanadas were amazing! Everything was amazing! Thank you and see you all soon!

New restaurant; great appetizers; good portions in food; excellent prices; I really like that they have a salsas bar!! More of 10 different salsas!!Evelyn was super nice, definitely I will back soon. Attention: is not 100% Mexican, is a fusion or mix of Mexican/Salvatorian... even though is a good fusion, mix ??Parking: The restaurant is in a plaza, so, plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: One lever, great accessibility

This is for sure the best Mexican food I have eaten. The guacamole was so awesome and fresh. I had the carnitas tacos and the wife had a big burrito with chicken. Great friendly service. My only regret is we live in Florida. Our next time here PoKitos will be our first stop.
