Great pizza. We stopped by for dinner and the pizza was great! They serve one size so bring a big appetite! We got the pizza with everything on it and it did not disappoint and the staff were great too!

I am a pizza snob and this was hands down the best pizza I have ever had. Everything is fresh and made in-house. They had a great salad bar. We ordered the mozzarella bread and it was "Uh-mazing"!!! We ordered the big foot pizza, meat lovers pizza, the rustic balsamic pizza, and the chef's favorite pizza. We were not disappointed!!!! The sauce and toppings were delicious!!! The service was perfect! Raven was the best!!! The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. We sat outside on the deck that overlooked the river and it was just what we needed and wanted. You won't regret going to the Twisted Tomato!!!!

This pizza is fire! We have it every time we are in town! If weather is good we sit outside by the creek! Super friendly staff and food is always delish!

This cumulative of dining spaces, tasty food, and quaint old town make for such a great place to stop for a delicious bite when visiting McCaysville and Copperhill area. They share an expansive outdoor seating area and deck with Burra Burra which gives you the best of both worlds. Our party had a combination of pizza type items and salad bar. Everything was delightful to eat but our one complaint was the quality of the produce and the attention to detail regarding it. There was a whole heart of lettuce mixed in with the greens on the salad bar and plenty of rotten greens mixed in. Seems they need to update their practices for managing their produce rotation (maybe some FIFO). Service is limited to a register, running food, bar, and busing. You get a number upon placing your order at the register and the select your table where you wish to dine. Once your food is ready, they will run it out to your table. We didn't have any issues at all with service and found it to be very timely. There did seem to be a delay in the clearing of tables and many remained dirty for quite some time after diners had left. We will definitely be back to enjoy their offerings and outdoor dining space once it warms back up. We really enjoy visiting them after hiking with the dogs and the outdoor dining deck makes for the perfect spot for us to all relax and refuel.

Tasty fresh ingredient pizza that's hot out the oven! I loved the old school salad bar the freshest I've seen post Covid and everything was ice cold and that ranch!!!! Quaint spot that's quick, not expensive, and tasty if in the area!

We had lunch at twisted tomato this afternoon. There were four of us adults and one child. We ordered pizzas for the five of us and we ended up taking home about half of what was left. One of the pizzas was the meat lovers and requesting half of it to be just pepperoni because of the child with us. It was no problem at all and they graciously fixed it that way. Our second pizza was the Bigfoot supreme, they both were excellent and they would fired method they use was great. We ordered the bucket of beer for us for adults which included five beers at a good price.. I was wearing my Vietnam veterans cap and they gave me a military discount, I never ask for a discount but I thought it was mighty nice of them to notice and give me the discount. I left them a larger than normal tip just to show my appreciation. All the employees were so nice and made sure that we were taken care of. I would highly recommend twisted tomato to all.

Some of the best pizza in the area! And the cheesy garlic bread is amazing!!! Great staff.

This pizzeria is located in a pavilion with two other restaurants: Happy Bear Café and Bura Bura. They all share the large patio with views of the Ocoee River and a small steel bridge. By the bridge is a plaque dedicated to those astronauts who lost their lives during the shuttle Challenger accident in 1986. We thoroughly enjoyed the large pepperoni pizza. I liked the fact Twisted Tomato used the smaller pepperoni’s that “cup-up” in the oven. This is not your average pizza. I would give this place “5” stars if their salad bar was up to higher standards. It is basically a small salad bar with limited choices which underwhelms. Simply stated, my wife did not like the salad. Overall, though, the ambiance and the good tasting pizza makes it a “4” Star establishment for sure. If you found this review to be “helpful” in any way, please press “thumbs-up” to let me know.

This was a real treat during our stopover riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. I like that there was some shaded outdoor seating and some out in the sun, as well as indoor. Lots of variety. The pizzas are big, they really don't skimp on toppings, and the crust is perfection. Worth every dime. The Rusted Balsalmic was my favorite but the three cheese was sooooo so so good and decadent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed that we could walk up and order and then go sit. Just the whole experience was an awesome vibe. The whole family really enjoyed it and we would 100% go back there if we were in the area again!

We visited this place twice during the trip to Blue Ridge. Food is good especially the salad bar which is a great deal. Their pizza has the best crust, light and crispy. Service and friendliness of the staffs are however needs to be improved.

Best pizza I've ever had. No, this isn't a knee j*** reaction. Came here with my wife and some neighbors during a cabin trip weekend. Saw the awesome reviews, but to be honest, I was still skeptical. We ordered a couple of the favorites from the menu. Absolutely delicious. The crust was perfect, the toppings, everything. We are from Atlanta and haven't been able to find pizza like this. I 100% recommend trying this spot if you're in the area. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. We liked it so much, we actually ate here twice during our 2 night trip.

It's amazing what skipping out on an event gives you time to do. In my case, I got to make progress on some of my reading, not to mention finding Twisted Tomato for our meal. Now what sold me about this place was the view. That and who can resist coal-fired pizza? Yums in the tums! Now essentially how this place works is you order at the counter, they give you a number, and when the food is ready, servers will go and find you and the number. Two of us shared a margarita pizza, the other three of us went a little crazy with a margarita pizza, a meatball pizza, and garlic bread. Needless to say, we had plenty of leftovers. Minus one of us, we were all happy with the pizza. The one person who wasn't a fan said it was the tomato sauce she was not a fan of, so take that as you will. We ate, drank beer and cider, and enjoyed our meal with a view. Would recommend if in the area. I think my only regret with them is I didn't order dessert. It's a shame, too, as they had a lovely display case of desserts.

This was a great recovery from our dinner in the area the night before. Twisted Tomato is delicious! Seating is plentiful and the service is attentive and full of smiles! We had the Rusted Balsamic and it was perfect! We also ordered the Shredded Mozzarella Breadsticks with marinara (which were my favorite). It was a casual and fun experience. I didn't take any pictures, but our family had the best time.

My husband said it was the best calzone he ever had! I had to agree. it was even beautifully presented, piping hot! The salad bar was full of fresh vegetables and well maintained. The staff were warm and even spun yarns with us about Sasquatch Beer. The atmosphere was warm and sparkling clean with a fun outdoor river view option. The joyful kitchen staff lifted our moods!

On my visit to the area, we had a two hour stop before having to get back on the train. My friend and I decided to get a quick pizza lunch here. The pizza came out hot and fast and we enjoyed it. Easy set-up, they bring the pizza to the table and you get your own dishes, crushed pepper, silverware and drinks. Recommend if you are looking for a lunch spot in the area
