I am lucky enough to live in the same area as Blue Macaw, so I pick up all my coffee in person, for several years now. I've tried fifteen or twenty kinds, all good, but my latest favorite is the Bali blue moon that I prepare as espresso; before that it was Ethiopian yergacheffe. Really nice, hard working people here, always friendly and I look forward to seeing them every month, as two pounds last us four weeks. I feel lucky to have such a great roaster in my town.
We have been buying from Blue Macaw for approximately five years. Their products are fresh, amazing and their customer service is phenomenal. I give them my highest recommendations!
Ordered 5lbs of Kenyan Coffee. It made a great cup of coffee. Only improvements I would suggest is origin information on the package as well as the roast date for added transparency. Also shipping took awhile. All that being said, I would absolutely order from them again and plan on doing so in the near future.
