The best Brisket in the Golden Isles! I moved to SSI from Texas and was disheartened by the brisket I tried in several acclaimed local barbecue spots….too dry for me. We finally found Gary Lee’s and we make the drive from SSI to get juicy brisket just like I loved in Texas!

Great BBQ. Hands down some of the best i've ever had. Get the brisket sandwich, its worth it. Bacon, ribs and wings were on point. Fast service and great food, what more can you ask for.

Pulled Pork Sandwiches are massive and inexpensive. Could stand on its own but they have a flavorful BBQ sauce that only makes it better. Sweet tea is always fresh and never sour. This is the roadside BBQ joint you hunt all your life for.
My wife and I are from Texas where BBQ really does reign king. So, we didn't know what to expect when we visited your place. We were neutral on the brisket. Back home we have anywhere from terrible to great. Overall, your's was good. Now, to the others. The pork was he best that we have ever had. Your chicken blew me out of the water. I can't imagine it being any better. And, your jalapeño sausage was fantastic. I seldom eat any sides. However, my wife tried your coldslaw, and wished she would have got a larger size. We gave your restaurant five stars. You deserve it. Larry and Cathy Mathews
Bought 12 smoked wings for $15.95 and took them to work for lunch. Out of 12 I got to eat 2 because of the feathers that were left on them. Gross. As great as they taste, I prefer my chicken, prepared to eat minus the feathers.

These folks are awesome! Aside from foods, I had to run to the airport and hour before they open, so I contacted them the night before thinking here goes nothing. Someone got back to me and said I can stop by early, knock on the door and they will have stuffs I want ready. I came with my friend and they couldn’t be more accommodating. The best brisket i've had. Great food, great people all around!
