Staying at a hotel very close by, this restaurant was an easy choice to walk over and pick up a meal to take back to my room. After reading all the reviews, some giving it high marks while others giving it very low marks, I decided to give it a try.I went for the shrimp and grits. Brunswick being a Southern coastal town, I figured that would be an easy dish and I wouldn't be disappointed. To be honest, the individual flavors of all the ingredients made a great combination. However, it was all completely overwhelmed by salt. I could not finish eating it.I read an earlier review that complained of the salt content of their dish. Apparently that complaint was not taken seriously. If management is reading this review, please tell the chef to back off on the salt. Let the individual diner add salt according to their preference.As one who travels frequently, I always order a meal to go. More often than not, there is little thought given to the presentation compared to one dining in the restaurant. This dish was typical of what I get.

This place seriously disappointed me. The food was not good, the service was almost NON-EXISTENT and it was expensive also. I still left the server a nice tip, everyone has a bad night. But listen, they desperately need to improve on everything.

This was across the parking lot where we stayed for one night. Easy access and food was decent. Staff friendly and knowledgeable of menu. Food was good and reasonably priced. Would go back if ever in the area.

Ive been a Chef for 25 years everything was highly seasoned and perfectly cook. Kudos to the back of the house. We had a new waitress and she was amazing,and the 2 at maitre d station wonderful happy and inviting. Thanks to the Gm she took time out of her Night to talk to us Great job everyone. We had gotten the chicken hibachi, bacon cheeseburger , vodka shrimp pasta… the shrimp was so spoiled I could smell it across the table. They did take it off the bill and we tried to get the French onion soup instead, it was extremely salty and yall I love some French onion soup I dived right in and was disappointed to feel a thick mealy texture and so much salt, the hibachi dinner was extremely salty as well. The server told us they smelled the shrimp with the manager and didn’t smell anything but my sister couldn’t get the taste out with even drinking her alcoholic beverage.. they were sorta nice but ehh. Just not worth it, not satisfying at all and I feel like I wasted money to eat salt.The burger was okay I guess.
Very poorly run establishment!!! When you receive a drink from the bar you never expect to cut your lip taking a sip but....in the event that happens you should take responsibility for it as a manager. Laura I am sorry to say did not. Laura did tell me that this should be expected because they bang their glasses around in a metal sink. Seriously??? She went on to explain that she would comp the first round of drinks and then merely walked away. No apology offered nothing but a sly look over her left shoulder upon entering the kitchen. Hindsight being what it is I should have left but I did not. My waitress Cindy was phenomenal and polite BTW. You'd think that would be all but no...... ordered a shot too and guess what another chipped glass!!! When I received the bill "one" drink had been comped. SMHLaura could use some further training.
