I can’t rate the service or atmosphere, because we ordered for delivery (which was on time). The food, though, is phenomenal! We had what amounts to the low country boil: snow crab, shrimp, mussels, potatoes, corn on the cob, even hard boiled eggs! Plus an order of oysters on the side. We got it hot with Cajun seasoning. It. Was. So. Good. This was our first experience with The Hungry Crab, and it definitely won’t be the last.

After reading the reviews I was hesitant to try this place but with it being Easter Sunday they was the only place open.I have to say hands down the best seafood I’ve ever had in my life (and I’m a seafood junkie) we eat seafood at least twice a week in my house. We are from Atlanta and came down for the weekend, to go crabbing and didn’t catch but 1 crab our trip was a bust but this place made our trip worth the 4 hour ride!!!!

This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant. There was a time at a different restaurant that always stayed with me, but this is the WORST!!!It took us 30 minutes just to get our fountain sodas AFTER we ordered them. Then when we got our drinks and ordered our food, took another hour and a half for our food. I will say, tables with other servers didn't seem to have this issue.If you're looking for seafood in Brunswick, do yourself a favor and go to Mr. Schucks.

Had the crawfish, oysters and calamari.The crawfish was served with a large plastic bag around it that made it pretty difficult to eat, and it had absolutely no flavor to it.The oysters were only ok and the calamari just flat out wasn't good.
