Make sure to try the gator bites.
First, Austin, our server, was great. Then the food, from hush puppies, Brunswick stew, wife had grilled mahi, son had filet, I did scallops, buffaloed, the sides all homemade and wonderful, cheese grits, available after 5, wow. Mac and cheese, another wow. All in a cool marina setting. Not white tablecloth or regular plates, our kind of stuff.

Server kept asking for us to purchase more food. Might have done so if the food wasn't so bad. Pass on this one.

The best fish I've ever had! Highly recommend the fish basket with onion rings. My husband had the Mudcat Platter and it was sooooo much food. I tried some of all of it and everything was superior! You definitely have to get a table on the porch because it was just wonderful to watch the water and the boats while you eat. We even got to see the resident gator in the water waiting to eat lol. I could happily eat here everyday if we lived in the area.

We have been here many times but today the food was not on par. The steamed seafood was not seasoned and the fried seafood was greasy. The place is usually packed but today is not very busy. Not sure if they are just having a bad day or if the lack of business is because the quality of the food has gone down.

We love to stop here after a day at the beach. The fried shrimp are to die for and the service is wonderful There is a porch seating area and a dock that you can walk on to look at the boats and occasionally spot a gator from. There is also a little gift shop to stroll through.

We sought the advice of a staff member of King George's Fort about a place to eat. She suggested Mudcat Charlie's. She was right! The food is marvelous! I had a shrimp basket with fries and hushpuppies. I really enjoyed it. The shrimp and hushpuppies were heavily peppered, but I thought it was just right. Jack had a burger and onion rings. He said it was a REAL burger, and he loved it. Our server was sweet and helpful. If you're in the area, try it out!

Not only is the food priced well, it tastes as good as it gets on the Altamaha River. The appetizers are the best in the area for local flavors and the southern staples are done right. Great drinks, great staff, great location!

Great seafood restaurant located on the edge of a somewhat secluded Harbor for private boats. Beautiful view from our table and from many other tables of the boats out on the water
Delicious food well prepared with great service from wait staff

Oyster bar patio had lots if ambience. Wait staff could.not have been better. Food was mediocre. Much of it tasted frozen, not fresh.

Everyone has been always very nice and the service was excellent as well as the food . 2nd time there traveling back home. We will be back
Consistently good food at a reasonable price. Check your receipt though. I believe they are including the tip.
The wings were bland, tough, dry and drenched in store bought honey BBQ sauce. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and brown.
