Planned to eat here on the way out from Jekyll Isand. 1st visit and discovered the perfect old school "fish camp" vibe! We chose Good Time Charlie's Crab Stew and jalapeño poppers for our lunch. My husband had a cup & I had a bowl. It was delicious and full of crab! I could have eaten 2 bowls, but without a nap, I couldn't have made the 4 hour drive home. Country Southern Charm On The Coast!My husband and I absolutely love this place! We have passed through on our way to Florida several times now and have never been disappointed. Tonight we had the garlic peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp came swimming in this delicious, buttery garlic sauce cooked perfectly. The garlic is not overpowering at all. Again I forgot to take pictures. But had half a dozen raw oysters and fried pickles as an appetizer and then had scallops and mahi and my friend had the crab cakes platter. All of that was delicious and our waitress was amazing. I wasn't a fan of my collard green side but the Mac and cheese was good.
