The highway 17 location exit 29 of I-95 appears closed. There's a "for lease" sign on the building, the Gloucester Street location is also closed BUT the Rt 341 Jesup Highway location IS OPEN!!!! As usual the food was incredible. I always get the fried oysters, my guilty pleasure, and they were DELICIOUS! my husband always eats what I can't...after he eats his fresh fried flounder or whiting. The food is the read deal! This is a family run business. The Grampa is there sometimes as well as the mother and son...although haven't seen the Grampa lately. He always says the food is prepared with LOVE! Try it, you might feel like we do! Exit 36B I-95 Georgia...in the Winn Dixie Plaza, about 1/4 mile north of exit on the right.

Very cool place off the beaten path. It was kind of hard to reach the parking due to the landscape. The flounder was fried light and crispy and it was not greasy. Drink menu seem to be a limited, and they only have Pepsi, no Coke. Mac & Cheese was awesome. This is a no-frills dining spot.

I ordered shrimp with baked beans and collard greens. By far the best baked beans and collard greens I’ve ever tried. My boyfriend ordered the Mac and cheese and to my preference it wasn’t seasoned enough or maybe not enough cheese. Other than that 10/10 service and food. Would 100% come

I have been at two Jay's locations. The chicken and fish are cooked to perfection. There are no sandwiches, filets, or whole cooked fish. The staff at both places are friendly and professional. I have always had a positive experience whether eating in or taking out.The baked beans are the best. Fries are made fresh. Greens are very tasty.

Extremely delicious food, no frills atmosphere, exactly what yelp is perfect for on a road trip. We were driving through and excited to give it a try, everyone in our group loved it.

Our experience was amazing. We have been in GA going on 4 years now and I have constantly asked coworkers and people I have come in contact with where is the best seafood restaurant. I have been several places just to be disappointed. But! But my husband and I went to the port and we was just reading signs seeing what was around. I looked them up on Google and read the reviews and decided to give them a try. THE BEST SEAFOOD DECISION I HAVE MADE SINCE BEING IN GA! They have a customer for longevity as long as we are in this state. Amazing food and atmosphere and extremely friendly. ?

An excellent stop for dinner. The catfish was fried perfect and the sides were seasoned and tasty. Extremely friendly service. It made for a quick meal but delicious. Kitchen area is visible and was very clean. I'd definitely stop on a future trip.

Bland, no seasoning what so ever. Very disappointing. And a waste of money. I ordered the 2 seafood platter. Catfish & shrimp. I wouldn't reccomend this place

Wonderful customer service. The food is cooked to order so expect a few minutes wait but it's well with it. My party ordered an 8pc dark , 4 tenders, and chicken gizzards.

Ok, so we actually ate at the one on 341. I couldn't find them on maps. You just go in and seat yourself. I got chicken and my husband got fish. It all came out fresh and hot. They do not season either, but it was still hot and fresh. I will go back and try the shrimp. They had great value ketchup on the table (yuk), but I asked the young lady for heinz, and they had some ?. The place was clean also. Just remember, this is the one on 341 in front of Winn Dixie.

This is a small place that would make you question its quality but never judge a book by its cover. The service and food was excellent. The portions were generous. I highly recommend

Great food, clean facility, friendly service! We stopped here on our way back to FL from NC and it will definitely be our new road trip stop. This pic is of the delicious grilled grouper after I had already devoured much of it. It was enough for two people and tasted so fresh.

This is my first time stopping in at their new location on Highway 341. I was quickly met with friendly faces and smiles and a great attitude. The menu was hard to choose from because there seem to be a lot of good options but I went with the shrimp and scallops grilled with mac and cheese and baked beans for my sides. I'm real picky when it comes to baked beans but these really did the job. The shrimps and scallops were delicious and the mac and cheese was not bad at all. All in all it was very enjoyable and I will definitely be going back again.
