We recently ordered catering multiple times from Reid's for 2 different trips to Brunswick in February and April. All the food was amazing, and the service was great. We even called last minute to ask for drinks, and they said no problem, and the delivery driver went to the store to pick up drinks for us! That is amazing customer service!

Loved everything about our brunch experience here. We had no reservation but they managed to queeze us in. Very creative and tasty riffs on traditional brunch food. We enjoyed the bruleed french toast with peaches, eggs bennie with pimento cheese, eggs bennie with duck confit, out-of-this-world grits and the blueberry pancake bourbon drink. We wanted to come back for dinner (we we're staying in nearby Jekyll Island which is not at all diverse from a food and drink perapective). The timing for dinner availability didn't work so we consoled ourselves with an order of biscuits for the next morning.... they were to die for! Do not miss if you are in Brunswick and are an unapologeric foodie!

Extremely disappointed. Service was terrible and food was bland and cold. This use to be a great place. What happened?

We had a large party, no issues with the reservations at all and the wait staff was excellent, both got 5 stars. But the food...our appetizers were good, and most of our party enjoyed their meals, but I and one other got the special and it was, sadly, way overdone and nearly inedible. While another of our party did complain about her meal, they were quick to try to make it right and the server was very gracious.

My partner and I had a really good lunch here while we were staying locally on Jekyll Island. I enjoyed a crab cake sandwich. Josh was our server and we had some enjoyable conversation as well. Very extensive bar for drinks if that's your interest. I was lucky to enjoy a Belgian Tremors beer with my lunch. Had fun meeting Gregory from the kitchen and get a look at the speakeasy in the back. After lunch we strolled to the old Court house and the main street

I love what they're trying for. I left America ten years ago with no plans to return. But oh! Life does like to throw us curve balls and somehow this world traveling big city human finds herself in Brunswick, GA for a few months. My first day here I did what I always do in a new city. Go to Maps and find all the coffee shops and restaurants I want to try. Coffee shops? Easy. None. Bummer. Where am I going to write? Next. #1 place looks like Reid's Apothecary. I was eager to try it. The good: that incredibly good looking bartender who is so gosh darn charming. Wow. I'll give another wow here. He deserves it. In addition, he told me he loves his job and his boss treats him well. That's important. Hm. Good? Okay, yes, the interior design is pretty. The bad: the restroom was kind of gross. There was only one trash can in the room, a large one over by the door and it was overflowing with paper towels, chewing gum, and who knows what else. For those prices? I'd expect cloth towels to dry my hands. The place wasn't really that busy when I was there. I can only imagine what it must look like on a busy weekend night. The food, oh! The food. I feel I should preface this with I had a sausage & cheese hash brown bowl at Waffle House on my drive down here and I loved it, some of my favorite places to eat have been shacks with dirt floors and chickens running at my feet, and in Africa I would stop the woman with a bucket on her head and happily eat whatever slop she was serving out of it. When I look at Reid's Apothecary and oh my God those outrageous prices I have high expectations. Wherever I go and whatever I'm eating I expect the quality of food to match the price I pay. If I can sit and have a meal at a nice place in Paris along the Seine river with a view of the Eiffel Tower for LESS MONEY than it costs to eat at a small restaurant in Brunswick Georgia then I expect that to be one freaking amazing restaurant. I ordered the crisp apple salad and added chicken. The chicken was so overcooked and dry I may as well have been eating the leather from the bottom of my shoe. I didn't even eat half of it when I gave up. I've been racking my brain and the only time I can remember having a worse piece of meat was what they called "steak" at the Hotel Kazakhstan in Almaty a couple years ago and I've had a platter of dog served to me when I was invited to a family dinner once. You can't go and charge me enough money to feed a family for a month in many parts of the world for one simple salad and then not even make it right. Not cool. Ugh. Well I guess you can. The place seems to be busy all day everyday. In the end, I appreciate what they're going for: hip, nice, flashy, small town revitalization and I 100% support it. It's exactly what brought me in. I wanted to like it but I can't see myself paying those prices for that level of culinary experience in the future. I'll stick to the cheaper places with the sticky floors where at least I know I get what I pay for.

Amazing dinner. My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed our evening very much. We got the Wednesday Date Night feature. 1 appetizer, 2 entrées, and 1 bottle of house wine for $60.We also added an order of the Fried Brussels, which was incredibly delicious. My husband got the Ribeye which he devoured, and I got the Curried Chickpeas with grilled chicken which was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything was great. I would definitely recommend Reid's Apothecary.

My first review was a “2”. In retrospect, likely to have been about not having right person at the door. Return - spontaneous visit was a complete different encounter! Great atmosphere- wonderful food. Tip? Make a reservation….

The food was good and definitely somewhere I would visit again. Their brunch menu has a lot of very appealing options. I chose the duck confit eggs Benedict with a honey crisp apple salad and an up and at em drink. It was all good, not the best I've ever had but good.

Was here for a business dinner. It was also the 1st time I had been here. The food was excellent. I had the rib eye cooked rare. It was perfect and the most tender steak I think I've ever had.

Food was very good. Unfortunately food was very slow coming out of kitchen.. sat for 1 hour waiting on food on Tuesday night.

This was our first visit. The food was delicious. The staff were nice and friendly. I rated overall 4 stars because we waited about 10 mins before our waiter took our drink order. Once our food was out, we were not asked how everything was, and my husband did need a refill on his sweet tea, but he was not asked if he did.We will go back again for a special occasion!!
