I have had many delicious cakes from here like the caramel and chocolate layered ones. But I was not pleased with the German chocolate cake ordered, as it was not made from scratch .I could have used a Duncan Hines cake mix myself for less than $38.

Ordered a nine layered cake and got a six layered chocolate cake. It was so lopsided it was ridiculous. Would add a picture if I could. The box was wrapped up so you couldn’t look inside. I didn’t unwrap till I got to the birthday party. I pulled it out and was so embarrassed. Unwrap and look at your cake before leaving this place. All was made right immediately. Exceptional customer service. Thank you.

Came from out of town to a family reunion and birthday weekend! The first birthday called for a strawberry cake with strawberry icing ! Since we had 25 people we needed two cakes. One cake serves 14-16 people so I bought two. I came to pickup the cakes and they smelled great. That night we served one because we had less than twenty-five and the cake served 15 easily with lots of small pieces leftover. The table munched on the scraps till nothing was left. We reserved the other cake by freezing overnight and it came out soooo fresh. These cakes were homemade and they were a crowd pleaser!!

Disappointed ... checked with Stripplings and their cakes were 7 days old, so I went to SugarBakers directly on Community Rd ... and bought a cake there. Well, the cake was so dry and not fresh and very disappointing. If you get a fresh cake, then nothing beats it because they are GREAT. I never thought to ask if it was fresh.But it appears those when you go in and ask for a cake, they direct you to a side shelf where they are stacked and boxed and not refrigerated ... DRY DRY DRY --- I never thought to ask if they were fresh cakes. if you want delicious, ASK first.Such a shame. Should have just gone to Publix! I gave this a 3 because I have had their FRESH CAKES ---- unbelievably delicious. But you gotta date the inventory because this cake was NOT fresh by d-a-y-s. So disappointed.
Service was great and the red velvet cake was very good! I love the fact they they included a bible verse on each item! Great job Sugarbakers!!
