I visit the area regularly (gotta love those Jekyll beaches), and every time I do, I always make sure to stop by Anchored. Whether I'm getting fresh or fresh-caught and frozen, the quality has never wavered. Additionally, their customer service is always professional and friendly, happy to answer all my questions, and occasionally offer a recipe or two! If you live in the area, or are just passing through, Anchored is a must-stop shop!
Inconspicuous but worth finding! Shrimp were cleaner and more flavorful than obx. Sizing is consistent. Weighed out, heat sealed in thick mil bags. Multiple sized foam coolers(reasonable price) and shovels of free ice to keep it fresh. Seasonal catches so dont expect a grocery store w 32$ refreshed Chilean sea bass. They are the real deal!
