Margarita tastes like turpentine and bug spray and the container it was being poured from matched the taste but the service was friendly.

I went through the drive through, I didn't feel the food was anything more than okay it was borderline tasteless I didn't even eat all of it and I was starving because I hadn't eaten anything before leaving on my trip. I do love however that they had a outside patio dining area where you could have your pet with you.

Friend suggest here for lunch break. Chips and salsa was not tasteful. Chips we're not warm, salsa was Ice cold. I would tell you about the tacos I ordered but I never got them. Hence lunch break, 45 minute - waited at least 30. They were under staffed but I will not be going back.

The one on 17 is where we went. Came in, no one at the bar, a girl(waitress I presume )was talking to a man in the corner. didn't acknowledge we were there so we seated ourselves, waited another 5 minutes or so, still no one at the bar and waitress girl still with man in corner, I went and got us a couple of menus, waited some more, waitress girl went out back (to the kitchen ?) still no life at the bar, 22 minutes had past, table was sticky, menu was sticky, the windows were filthy. We decided to leave, there was some guy feeding cats in the bushes, trashed bowls everywhere in the bushes from feeding the cats. Gross

Went there because of expressway advertising. It was good food and a nice amount. They do have a bar. Wife and I both say that we would have no reservations about returning again.

Tortuga Jacks in Brunswick is the worst Mexican restaurant that I have ever ordered from. 1st - We ordered takeout and got the smallest portions I have ever seen. 2nd - the dishes were terrible. The sauce on the enchiladas verde was barely there, the chicken was dry, size was appetizer portion, and the flavor was lacking. There was no corn salsa as described on the menu, the salad was laughable, and the rice was dry with a 1/2 cup portion size. We always order the queso with chips when we go to a Mexican restaurant. We added jalopena's and chorizo. What we got was a small takeout cup full of jalopenos, with some cheese sauce over it and no chorizo. If I had gotten this at the restaurant it would have gone back. Actually the whole meal would have gone back. I felt like I was scammed by the size of the dishes. So absolutely disappointed...worst ever. Would have posted 0 stars, but doesn't allow.

To the owner only.... Wed, 1/31, 3pm, Brunswick store. It is a shame that you have expensive, real estate and excellent equipment in this facility with a manager and wait staff that are so clueless. I am a very good tipper since I'm in the service business myself. But this experience was pretty lame. The store was empty except for me. And they forgot to cook my order which was just putting together some tacos. Sorry but the buck stops with you.

My husband and I were driving through Brunswick to hang out with some friends and noticed the billboard for this restaurant. It looked really nice so we decided after hanging out with friends, we’d go get an early dinner/late lunch there. We drive up and it’s an old fast food joint turned restaurant. No big deal, a lot of places are turned into new restaurants. Nothing new. We get inside and it feels dingy. That’s fine, I’ve been to a lot of mom and pop joints that have the same type of feeling, it happens. We sit down in a booth and our waitress came over almost immediately to bring us chips and salsa. The chips were stale and had no salt, and the salsa looked like it had water poured into it and like it had been sitting out for days. It was brown. I didn’t have any but my husband compared it to tasting like a dirty old tomato. Fine, whatever, we’ll over look that, could just be an end of the day type deal. Little did we know, we should have left then. When we got our menus, it was NOTHING like the menus they show online. A very limited selection, which was a disappointment. The waitress gets our order and brings us our drinks. They charge $4 a piece roughly for JUST a Dr Pepper and sweet tea. My husband got the Jacks Chicken Chimis and I got the Big Boy Burrito without tomatoes and corn salsa due to a tomato allergy. The waitress brings us our food alarmingly fast, but maybe the cook is just really experienced. We get our food, and they’re both burritos. The Jacks Chicken Chimi is NOT a chimi. It is just a burrito. We start eating and the food is hot garbage. They didn’t put my lettuce on top of my burrito and it was shockingly dry for the amount of queso on it, even the queso was dry.We eat it because we’re hungry and are both hate returning food. I get half way through and see a pretty large skin of some red vegetable. There is no mention of anything in the rice so I assume maybe it’s a bell pepper but go ahead and stop eating to be safe and I was feeling okay. We get the check and start heading out and I’m feeling a headache come on. It’s been a long day so whatever. We get in the car and start driving and my throat and sinuses start feeling really uncomfy and swollen. We call the restaurant and ask if there’s tomatoes in the rice. They say yes. MAKE SURE TO ASK WHAT IS IN EVERY ITEM. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant or a restaurant in general that doesn’t specify what is in the food. The waitress had even heard me mention the tomato allergy and didn’t say anything to me about rice having tomatoes in it.We spent $42 for crap food and an allergic reaction. Do not recommend at all. Taco Bell has more authentic Mexican food than this place. It all seemed like prepackaged stuff heated up
