I have stayed here AND photographed getting ready photos for an intimate elopement, and I can confidently say this is my favorite place to stay in California! In fact, everytime I capture a wedding in Redwoods NP, I come to this spot. The rooms definitely feel older, but are so cozy and have everything you need. The property is beautiful and surprisingly peaceful for being in town. The hot tubs and sauna are probably the best part, second only to the unique setting and rich gardens....
My wife and I like to visit when we come to Buena Vista. Everyone is always very friendly. I had a hot chocolate last time, and it was AMAZING. Sandwiches are delicious as well, and my wife loves the coffee. She says if we lived in Buena Vista she would visit almost every day. Great environment.
Great service and atmosphere; definitely a legitimate business. Free wifi and plenty of different menu options from pastries and sweets to sandwiches, soups, and salads, (and plenty of varied coffee drinks of course). Sunni (the owner) is great and I haven't had one thing on the menu that wasnt amazing. Just as good as Starbucks if not better. I'd go every day if I could!
