Sign of the Dove Restaurant

Apparently, they are closed. We traveled 20+ miles there for dinner last weekend and they literally shut the door and pulled the blinds upon arrival on a Friday evening. Their phone also doesn't work, so they very well are likely out of business.Would be nice if they updated their online status.

Beautiful and well-maintained old house. I was with a party of 6 and we all tried (and shared) different appetizers and entrees. Everything we got was excellent (as was the service). For dessert, the fried Oreos were amazing! So good. We wound up getting an order to go to share later. I'd highly recommend Sign of the Dove.Photo is of boneless pork chop, smashed garlic potatoes and bacon wrapped asparagus (from which we'd already taken a bite or two).

This is an awesome restaurant. We grabbed to go meals and were very pleased with the food. If you’re looking for something different, this is the place. I will definitely be going back to dine in, the atmosphere is beautiful!!!! It’s worth the drive from anywhere! We live in Taylor County and will be going at least once a week. I’m all for supporting small local businesses and this one is a winner. It puts the “chain” restaurants to shame. Go see them, you won’t leave disappointed.

Beautiful place very friendly staff and the food was delicious

The food is good and the service is nice. However, the setting is not what I had expected from a fine dining. The room is too dark to my like.

Had a delightful meal, for 3, last Sat. afternoon. Wanted to take a dear friend, visiting from Auburn, to a special place & wasn't disappointed. Our waitress, Carol, insured our satisfaction. She made recommendations & the dishes exceeded her description. Her service was excellent & her personality, charming. We look forward to dining there, often. Prices were reasonable. Desserts were great!

This Place was truly Amazing, The food in the Restaurant was great! Would highly recommend for lunch, and dinner. Looking forward to going back!

Wonderful service, great atmosphere and scrumptious food.

My husband and I went to Sign of the Dove from Columbus. It was so worth the nice drive over to Buena Vista! The historic house was absolutely gorgeous! The restaurant looked elegant but was really casual and comfortable! The service was spectacular and so friendly!! The food was served surprisingly timely and was extremely delicious! We also had a couple people stop by to introduce themselves and were welcoming! A wonderful experience!!

The food was amazing. Beautiful atmosphere in an old southern house. Great waitress. Good for date night.

We really enjoyed our first time at Sign of the Dove. Great food, quaint atmosphere, and attentive staff. We will definitely be back!

My family and I love their meals. I for one love my pastas. ?Very polite and great customer service. We ended up ordering close to closing time and they still made our meals. We even forgot our daughters grilled cheese. The staff called us to let us know and even though the restaurant was closed already, they stayed and waited for us to come back and get it. Thank yall so much. We would DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant. We also look forward to many more meals from the Amazing Sign Of The Dove, Thank y'all so much for the Amazing service and keep up the great work. ??

The Sign of The Dove B&B is such an amazing addition to our town Square. SOTD B&B has that old South charm rarely seen in the Chattahoochee Valley while offering quite a variety of dishes pleasing to many different palates! This place is must do if you have a Bucket List of restaurants!!! My favorite are Shrimp taco's paired with a glass of Peach wine from Five points distillery our local vineyard and wine cellar.
