I’d give this place 5 stars if they served pozole as it’s the BEST l. Unfortunately I have to travel to the other location on Buford Highway Todd get it. The food is very good, and authentic.

What delicious tacos, I recommend the tripa minis, my favorites.. the place is small but very well decorated.. the people treat you well, very attentive.. the salsas yuuuum.. good little Mexican corner that even I would order my taquitos... that Good seasoning... Greetings from Florida, I'll be back soon.

The food was authentic mexican and the Manager was very understanding of my service dog. Extremely clean place and definitely a spot to go to when you're in the area.

Standing outside in the cold rain isn’t usually how I start a restaurant review, but I was told I was not allowed to wait for my table inside. I am a 70 year old woman taking my granddaughter out for after shopping dinner, and I’ve never had anything like this happen. Rude hostess! As for the food. I’ll give it an ok.

We went and were told 20 minute wait which was fine. It was raining outside and they told us we could not wait inside. I explained we had been dropped off and did not have a car to wait in. The girl said the manger doesn’t want people to wait inside. There weren’t even benches outside. Talk about not appreciating customers. There are plenty of other restaurants to visit that show guests courtesy, it’s not worth coming to this crowded, loud establishment with rude manager and staff.

Came in to eat yesterday and was waiting on a table. A white couple & child came in 5 minutes after me, the same server hurried and cleaned off a table, sat them, and took their order. I was still standing right there. I understood my presence or money is not good there. I left. Sharing my experience with everyone.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant with ro manager and with a lady who was delivering and taking orders
I have been a customer of the king of the taco for more than 15 years at the Buford Hwy location and since they opened the king of the pastor in the mall of Georgia I started going since it is closer to me
It turns out that by mistake I called the Buford Hwy location to order an order of 3 tacos thinking that. I had placed my order at the Mall of Georgia location
I arrived after 20 minutes ah to claim my order
Since the service arrived it was terrible.
The lady who is in charge of making orders and accommodating them was talking and talking to her co-worker and she didn't pay attention to me because I was talking.
I had to interrupt them so she could pay attention to me.
I told him I'm coming for my order of 3 tacos.
He told me that he didn't have any orders under my name, so I realized that by mistake he had called the other location.
I told him to excuse me that if he could please take my order because I had my children waiting in the car and he answered me very rudely, I will not place the order until you call the other place to tell them what happened to your order, I told him. I was going to call but please take my order first
He ignored me and went to complain to the supposed manager so I asked to speak to him.
He was terrible and told me if you don't call to cancel the order at the other location, I'm going to call because they're going to make a mess of things here. That ugly vocabulary that the manager used was not the right type of people to serve the customers. customers ? It bothered me a lot because the answers he gave me had nothing to do with him placing a new order for me.
They didn't feel like it
I hope the owner chooses other types of people who are polite and treat customers well, especially those of us who have been buying from them for years.

Friends, I ate my food too fast to take pictures. It was so freaking delicious. I had the birria tacos. You'll get full off of just 1. Highly recommend!

PSA: Double-check your check!
They charged us more than what’s on the menu and gave us a bunch of excuses instead of owning up to their mistake. Our server Yatzari and the “manager” guy who’s always wearing a hat were very unapologetic and gave us attitude when we politely asked them to correct our check. Pricing can always be communicated and corrected, but giving customers attitude as if it’s our fault is absurd. A business trying to cheat and mistreat their customer for a couple bucks is an interesting business tactic.

Food is always amazing at this place. However, the reason for my 2 star review is our server, Judith A., didn't tell us a 18% gratuity was already calculated but proceeded to ask us to add tip. We only realized after receiving our receipt that we paid more than expected (30-45% tip). This practice seems very dishonest and purposeful. Next time, always tell customers if gratuity is automatically added.

Great food, mid customer service. This is my second time coming in with a group of waitresses completely ignore me and my friend at the entrance. We joined the online waitress and tried to get someone to assist us and the kept ignoring us. Finally we were able to get the attention from a lady at the bar and she’s like oh they probably you guys were waiting for take out. But how is that the case when no one said anything to us for 10 mins? But ok. So they finally seat us but I left. Because right when they sat us down a couple behind us walked and was immediately greeted and taken to a seat. A difference in a service for whatever reason.
