My dad & I used to live by the Taco Veloz in Gainesville. That one was really good. The food was always on point & they were very efficient.
We recently moved to the Sugar Hill area so this is our closest location now. It’s not as good as the one in Gainesville but I believe you guys can get there.
My dad & I went to eat here on Christmas eve, & there was only one couple eating in the building. We placed two simple orders, but they messed up my order for huevos divorciados. When I got my food, it had no salsa & no cheese on the eggs, so I asked for them to add salsa to it, & they took out the 2 little containers of green & red salsa from the fridge & they gave it to me. Well, ideally it would be cooked with the eggs…
Also, when the food came out, the rice & beans & my food were at room temperature. It was not cold, but it was not warm, so within about 6 minutes of me eating, my rice & beans were hardening up like it does when it becomes cold. Given that it was not busy in the restaurant, & we didn’t put in our order in advance, I was confused as to why the food didn’t come out hot, let alone warm.
If you want to grow in business, the basics need to be nailed first. I understand the staff may be training. If it’s possible, I recommend that you send them to the Gainesville location so they can train there for 2-3 weeks before they come back to Buford.
I understand it could’ve been an off-day, maybe with new staff. Anyways, I’ll keep eating here because I like Taco Veloz but there are also other spots in the area to consider.

We placed a simple online order for two people. When we arrived, we were informed that several of the items we ordered were unavailable. In addition, the majority of the items we did receive were not prepared as ordered. Hard pass on returning to this establishment anytime in the foreseeable future, if ever.

They seem like they are getting back to quality seasoned meat, they had fallen off for a minute there, as someone mentioned, like they had canned meat for a min. But my complaints are they will speak to you in English when you aren't Mexican. Look, it I took the time to learn Spanish, reciprocate. Either you want the bienvenida or not! Make up your mind. And the way the men treat Black women is muy terrible!

Great place to get a delicious burrito rolled well. Lengua is spot on. Why would you bother with the KFC next door when this is here?
The food is delicious, quick and hot. They wrapped the tacos in foil so when I was ready to eat it was still hot. Reasonable prices for great food. A fast food place with a full service restaurant food. Fresh ingredients seasoned well.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. I called in an order to this Mexican restaurant, but it was messed up multiple times over the phone. Hoping to clear things up, I decided to come in person. Unfortunately, the service didn’t improve. The cashiers were noticeably rude and asked me to repeat my order four different times, only to tell me that what I was saying was incorrect. I’m honestly confused—how can my order be wrong when I’m the one verbally giving it to you? The lack of professionalism and poor communication made this a frustrating experience.

They take a long time to give you some roast beef tacos when it's supposed to be their specialty, they don't give lemons, the sauces are restricted and they don't clean the tables.
