I live in Athens, so I don't get over to Buford very often. When I was able, I enjoyed having a safe 100% Gluten Free restaurant that had decent food.
Today I learned that the restaurant is no longer 100% Gluten Free, so I won't be able to return, or to recommend to others.🤬
Brisket burger and pulled pork sandwish were fantastic. The sides (potato salad and mac n cheese) were also amazing and OMG don’t get me started on that banana pudding. 10/10. First time visit and will definitely be back!
It is great going to a restaurant and not having to worry about cross contamination. The food was great and and the owner and his family were super friendly. It is about an hour drive for me, but I'll definitely be back!

Based on the reviews, this little BBQ joint serves food that is simply awesome. The brisket is cooked perfectly, tender, and flavorful. The pork ribs are super tender and ready to come right off the bone, with one 79.5 year old father saying they were the best ribs he’s ever had. Beef ribs are a top choice, and the burgers are the most diff, being juicy, yummy, and filling. The pulled pork sandwich is fantastic with a good smokey flavor. Sides like the potato salad and baked beans are well-loved, and the banana pudding is so yummy. The restaurant offers a gluten free menu and a Taco Tuesday with steak and brisket tacos, where the avocado sauce and pickled onions add to the amazing taste. The staff are very friendly, happy to greet everyone, and even offer water when not asked. The kitchen takes up most of the space, but the family vibe is great. This place is a must try for BBQ in GA and is a contender for the greatest BBQ ever had.
