Our entrees were delicious and flavorful, and as always, the exceptional service provided by Nick was a pleasure to experience. It was also a pleasure to meet Ali.
Probably the best culinary meal I have had in Cherokee County. Slightly more price wise compared to other restaurants and worth every penny.
With the great reviews I thought would be better. We were sent upstairs, which was quieter, but couldn't see the food being prepared, which I heard was cool. The food was good, but lacked presentation- literally a white plate with a steak (or trout) with no garnish or anything. The dessert - bread pudding - was the highlight. I would have liked more help from our server - what he recommended, what sides paired well, what wine to recommend. Perhaps he was new. He knew the menu but hadn't tried things. For a birthday celebration, a little disappointing.
Martini was delivered watered down with lime instead of with olives as ordered. Steak and chicken were served. The sides were served later. The potatoes and gravy were cold.Chicken was over cooked. This restaurant is more like a Dennys than a steak house. Children playing cards laughing. The table next to us was watching football on their phones. Everyone was shouting to be heard .
Consistent food. We eat at least twice a week. I always get the salmon. Has been cooked the same every time. The only complaints I have are: Not everyone likes spicy food. Their daily specials and soups are always spicy. I also feel the size serving of mashed potatoes could be a big bigger. I don't think it's 3oz at most
Third time here and I am Never disappointed. We went to celebrate my mom's 80th bday, though she passed away two months ago. I wanted a Caesar Salad and salmon and non chocolate dessert bc that is what she loved. DK kitchen delivered beautifully. If only I could get that crispness on my salmon like they did. Beautiful and a wonderful meal. Thank you.
My husband and I were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary, and I'm so glad we chose Downtown Kitchen. It was amazing!!! We had a card on our table wishing us a Happy Anniversary, inside the wait staff had signed it! So sweet. The food was soooo yummy, we will definitely go back.
My husband and I were first timers eating here. We ordered three appetizers, two meals and two desserts. Everything was delicious! Our server, Morgan, was amazing! Would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it.
Drinks were excellent, thanks, JR. All dinners were excellent (NY Strip Au Poivre, Short Rib, Ahi Tuna)
Sat at the bar and as usual was a great experience, great bartender, great food, and an overall fantastic experience

This is one of our favorite restaurants in cute little Canton, Georgia. We always go here as a couple, but also have such trust in their continued tasty, high quality and consistent meals that we bring our family members here when they visit from Germany as well as our local family. And they all love it every single time. Thank you for keeping the outstanding food quality and level of service. Keep it up and you have customers for life.
Great filet and great NY Strip but the side dishes were lack luster. Broccoli with basically cheese wiz. Chili (soup) appetizer tasted like it was warmed up out of a can. Not worth $200.
Not a terrible experience, but it definitely didn't blow my socks off. The food was okay, but not worth the price of admission. We ordered the Filet and NY Strip. The Filet seemed good, but the strip was very tough, even cooked medium rare. Simply put, the ambiance was loud and reminiscent of a bar on the weekend. I had to scream just to carry a conversation with my wife who sat across the table. Overall, it was okay, but I would probably never go back.
We enjoy going to Downtown Kitchen and always receive excellent service. The GA Peach Old Fashioned is my favorite before dinner drink, and last night's was everything I expected. Their Spinach Artichoke Dip is another favorite of ours. We chose one of the evening's specials, Veal Marsala, for our entree. The veal was fork tender and the Marsala was flavorful.
Monday is steak, night and the $25. 12 oz Ribeye is a great deal. The whipped potatoes and salad made it complete. My wife had the veal piccata special and she enjoyed it too. Cookies and cream cream brûlée was excellent and should be a menu keeper.
