We recently relocated from New Jersey to Canton a few weeks ago and had been searching for great Italian restaurant. After passing Mamma Onesta’s during the Christmas parade, we decided to make a reservation for Christmas Eve. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had chosen the right place. The best Italian in Georgia and it’s not even close! The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and always go out of their way to make sure your experience is amazing every time! We visit here pretty much weekly because it’s just too good!!
INCREDIBLE! We had the best evening at Mamma Onesta’s. Mel seated us before our reservation and was so welcoming. Such a cute space. Live music playing. Nick was our server and was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with toasted ravioli and bruschetta. Both incredible. The Marinara, made in house, was phenomenal. Mamma Onesta's Italian Restaurant offers a warm and inviting dining environment with good food and friendly service. The owner is welcoming and makes guests feel comfortable. The restaurant features generous servings of dishes like chicken marsala and spaghetti and meatballs that are sure to satisfy. Recent reviews highlight delicious mussels in white wine sauce, caprese salad with large servings and fresh-tasting beefsteak tomatoes, moist and flavorful chicken Marsala with extra mushrooms, and garlic rolls that are very tasty. The menu also includes calamari as an appetizer and side meatballs that many enjoy. Customers praise the flavorful pasta, especially the tortellini Ashley, and desserts like chocolate cake and cannoli. The staff, including Rachel who tends to the bar, are friendly and attentive, making service a positive experience. Some mention that spaghetti noodles taste like regular boxed noodles and that the Caesar salad could be improved with better cheese and dressing. The restaurant tends to be busy, especially on weekends, and reservations are recommended since service may vary. Overall, guests appreciate the good food, friendly owners, and cozy atmosphere, making it a favorite spot in Georgia for Italian cuisine.
