Went for first time for my birthday. Monday, when they fly in live Maine lobster and it's just $25! Whole dining experience was excellent from hostess greeting, birthday card, free creme brulee or lobster bisque for birthday girl! Great server, table in front of window to see the Christmas decorations on Main Street. Food was excellent, highly recommend!
Tonight was my husbands 60th birthday. We thought we would try Going Coastal one more time. While the appetizers were good - they were just warm. The salad seemed soggy and wilted. When my husband's Halibut came, it was a bit over cooked- and resembled a fillet of some fish, but it did not look like the cut of halibut. I ordered the shrimp. That was good, but the coleslaw was awful! This will be our last time Goin Coastal. When your bill is about 150 bucks for 2 people (including tip) it needs to be excellent! Not just okay! Do better!
The delicious seafood bowl and low country shrimp hit the spot! A unusual cold front moving in outdoors but very warm and cozy inside Goin Costal and exceptional service provided by Peyton, our server. One of favorite places and consistent tasty cuisine.
We checked in five minutes prior to our reservation and we're seated 30 minutes after only after reminding the hostess a few times that we were still waiting and she was sitting other guests ahead of us. I would've expected more having a reservation.
Good food, great service! We went before a show at the Canton Theater. Our server could not have been more helpful or pleasant. I wish I remembered her name.
Cindy and I enjoyed our dinner and celebration of her Birthday! Our experience was top shelf and we highly recommend Goin Costal.
GOIN COASTAL was fantastic! Great service and great food.. I had the Corvina fish and it was delicious!
This is my bride's favorite place for shrimp & grits. We have been going to Goin' Coastal fairly regularly since it opened in Canton, it has always been great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere. You can't go wrong!
I think the server might have been having a bad day. Just not very friendly. Food was pretty good except Risotto was a bit undercooked. It was my birthday and it was listed on the reservation and no one said anything at all.
We were greeting by a smiling server, Jessie. She was very knowledgeable and described the various fish entrees. We were very pleased with our choice of fish, along with the wine, sides and a delicious dessert! In our opinion, Going Coastal is Canton's best restaurant!

Very patient waitstaff...we had multiple courses and to-go orders, too...excellent selection of outstanding apps, main courses and sides...and a surprisingly affordable bill!!
Don't let some reviews block you from experiencing the food at Goin Coastal 😒. The mussels were amazing and the halibut was as summons as if eaten in Nova Scotia. Go early to get best chance of getting the specials.
Great service and atmosphere. Food was delicious. We had had blackened halibut , oysters, and calamari.
As always, Goin' Coastal doesn't disappoint. The food and drinks are delicious and the prices are reasonable and fair. It's nice to have a restaurant that we can count on for wonderful, fresh food. Good portion sizes, nice ambiance and well trained, pleasant servers. Highly recommend!
Area is very nice. Everything tasted packaged and frozen and menu descriptions weren’t clear. A bit disappointing.
