Dinner for 6. all had great apps, meals, one cocktail and wine (sommelier was incredible) and waiter was perfect.
This was the worst meal we have had in Canton - the bread with the appetizer was white bread out of a bag, not focaccia, the risotto tasted like they used dishwater instead of broth, the succotash was apparently out of a can, and the seafood poorly prepared. No acknowledgement of our anniversary, and very overpriced - $150 for two, no alcohol or dessert. Weird to be so bad when Queenies is so good. Perhaps the chef was on vacation, because no one in the kitchen knew what they were doing.
Our food was not quite as good as it usually is but the staff was gracious and made our experience as good as possible otherwise. We will continue to dine with them in the future.
We were seated in an undesirable location in the restaurant, party of four, even though we had a reservation. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. Service was excellent and the food was great.
We had our usual seafood entries, which were excellent. Our pre-reserved table was ready at the reserved time.
Nick ALWAYS provides great service at the bar. Our food (appetizer tuna and our main dish, lobster) was perfect. Kudo's to the wait staff and the kitchen.
This restaurant is always amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. The entire staff is very friendly and they all hustle to get your food out. You will NOT be disappointed.
We always love going to Goin Coastal. Such a wonderful neighborhood place with spectacular service, fresh food and a really cute atmosphere

I debated as whether to leave a review or suck it up to bad luck. We were first time customers for our anniversary dinner. We both decided on the redfish. Unfortunately we both experienced under cooked dishes, as in a clear gellotinous fillets with tough red center which was difficult to cut the fibers with a knife. Although our meals weren’t cooked (sufficiently) to our preference neither of us wanted to complain. I don’t know what happened and feel bad leaving this review. Nick was our waiter and was professional.
Nice little spot in downtown. Waite staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Gator tail was very good and especially the fried chicken, although it was a lot to eat. Both kids, (2 & 7) loved their dishes. Parking on the street can be a challenge unless you come early.
It was great! We had reservations and our table was ready for us when we arrived. Our server was cheerful and attentive. They have a changing variety of menu choices, so it's always fun to see what's up! Delicious!
It was our first time as we were recommended by friends. The food and atmosphere were very nice. Fritz did a great job with our service.
Another great experience at Goin Coastal! Loved the quiet wine room table so we could catch up with friends. All entrees were excellent. Not sure why, but oysters Rockefeller were not served hot. Still delicious. Service excellent.
