The service was outstanding, friendly and attentive! The atmosphere was inviting and the background music awesome! My sandwich was meh. The bread was good, the lightly breaded chicken cutlet from what I can discern through the watery vodka sauce was tasty. My issue was the sauce. The super friendly cash register person advised me they use a vodka sauce. Im ok with vodka sauce except when its extremely watery as in this case. I found the sauce drowned out the true flavor of the bread and chicken cutlets to the point that the sauce dripped down my hand. The sauce made the bread extremely soggy and I felt took away from the overall flavor of the sub. The other issue I had with the sauce it was over peppered or seasoned with too much and I didnt expect this. I've had Vodka sauce many times over the years but never experienced such a wet watered, spicy experience. The sauce dripped through the wrapper they use to wrap the sub. The wrapper stuck to my sub making it difficult to get to the actual sub. I am not sure since I was eating in why they needed to wrap my sub or if they are required too they may want to use a foil instead. I will try Pops again but will order a different menu item. I liked my experience here but not the item I chose. It's a local establishment and I want them to succeed. Hopefully next time i visit I will revise my review.

Very disappointed with this place!! I ordered a sandwich and within minutes it was very soggy. Pasta dish was not even al dente, it was not cooked correctly. Overall, it's overpriced for the quality of the food. There are no sides included. Also, very slow service. P.S. the other 3 people in my party share the same rating. I will not recommend or return here.

Can’t say enough! Popped in here for lunch with my fiancé and just phenomenal food, service atmosphere everything. I’ve eaten so many ‘fancy’ Italian restaurants and A lot of those don’t even come close to the lunch I just had. This place is beautiful. The food is Remarkable and there’s nothing pretentious about it. It’s just an Authentically great restaurant .

I loved POP’s. The atmosphere & ambiance was incredible. Such a cozy spot here in Downtown. We got great service, and the food was amazing. The menu is really well executed and the combinations of flavors for these dishes is very well executed. The Caesar, pastas and sandwiches were all excellent and we will continue to return!

Owners were super nice and helpful. I ordered the Hey Frankie sandwich, with house made sausage, provolone and roasted peppers and onions. Solid 10/10!

We stopped here for lunch after the Riverfest. Staff was friendly and helpful. They suggested the Norcina and arugula, pear, & gorgonzola salad. Everything is fresh and homemade including the pasta. We would highly recommend.

My wife and I came here for the first time after a 6 hour flight. First off when we walked in we were greeted with a smile and told how it works. The gentleman was very friendly. After we looked at the menu we ordered two pasta the norcino and the seafood scampi both of which were phenomenal (the norcino was the favorite). We were so hungry from the flight and so impressed that we ordered the chicken parm sandwich (I think it was called the st joseph) after our two pastas. It was perfect as well not only finally settling our hunger but a perfect end to our dining experience. The customer service went above and beyond and were warm and welcoming. This place is 10/10 and I would absolute come back and recommend to anyone looking for good pasta and a good time.

This place has a vibe that I really love. Something about the atmosphere makes me feel so relaxed and happy. The food is not your typical Italian fare...it's inventive and YUMMY. We tried the Nocina Pasta and the Roasted Root Vegetable Gnocchi and both were delicious.

I love everything about this place! POPS somehow has the vibe of stylish metropolitan eatery while also making you feel like part of the family. And the FOOD - my goodness, the food! So good, with truly original dishes even when “playing the hits” like the amazing chicken parm I had tonight (while also stealing some of my wife’s rooted vegetables and pesto pasta as well). Don’t forget to take home some freshly made pasta to cook at home and if you didn’t save room for dessert (which would be tough), grab a tiramisu or cheesecake single-serving to-go to enjoy along with it. So very good.
