Been to this place three times. Most recently for Valentine's we made an appointment and was seated in a separate area that felt like a buffet style seating arrangement right next to other guests. Was very shocked and so were the other guests who walked in the same room. Should've had something telling us before hand of this changed seating arrangement. The most recent time it took probably 15-20 mins to finally get a waiter as well.
This a great establishment for date night, special occasion, and family night. The service is always great with timely service and servers who all help each other out-- unlike other establishments with unhappy servers left to fend for themselves. The smoked brisket, the fried chicken, and the rainbow trout are our entree favorites. All the sides are excellent--the salad with shaved vegetables and cornbread croutons, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and mac-n-cheese are our go-to's....
Great Friday lunch. I had the Bacon Pimento Burger with fries and my wife had the Vege Platter Lunch (3 veggie sides). She had the Sweet Potatoes, Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Smoked Cauliflower. Everything was delicious (my wife allowed me a taste of her sides). Also the biscuits were some of the best I have had. Definitely will return soon to try other menu options. Highly recommend!
