Honestly the restaurant is fine got seated, waited 64 min so far for a 2 person order 1 cheese burger and chicken and dressing. Still waiting on the order. They also sat a couple behind us and they were served first. They don't prioritize by arrival apparently. The atmosphere is remodeled car wash.

Always good bbq and good service. While it has new ownership - the ladies who serve are the same kind faces we've seen for years. Thank you!!

This is not a BBQ restaurant. Maybe a dinner at best. The meat was from a crock pot not smoked or charred. Would not recommend make the drive to a real BBQ spot where you can get something smoked.

The food was terrible. My green beans were old shriveled and greasy. I ordered the smoked chicken and it was at best, boiled chicken soaked in sour tasting barbecue sauce. It tasted like ketchup mixed with mustard! The fried okra was so greasy I could squeeze the oil out of it. My husband had the barbecue pork plate. The pork seemed like it was cooked in a crockpot and it had more melted fat than barbecue sauce. The broccoli casserole looked old and was a gray color. The corn muffins were dry and stale and the hotdog my four-year-old ordered wasn’t fit for my dog. It was disgusting. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dry it felt like we were eating in a jail cafeteria. There were no decorations, and the place was full of elderly people that had no barbecue on any of their tables. This restaurant should be called a diner, or anything other than a barbecue restaurant, because the menu lists the meat as smoked, and it was not smoked nor barbecued. I will never go here ever again and I would advise you not to either. The only positive I can say is the crinkle cut french fries were OK and the sweet tea was good.

I hate to say it about a local restaurant, but I can't call the food here barbecue. I don't think any of the meat has seen a bit of flame or smoke. All of the meat seems to have been baked or cooked in a crock pot. The sauces are bland, and there is no selection to garnish the meat at the tables or counter. The sides seem like they're heated from frozen or out of a bag. For the quality of food, I would expect cheaper prices. The staff were perfectly pleasant, but not the most capable. The restaurant itself was mostly clean and has an older feel.Eat here with tempered expectations.

I was driving through Cartersville when I came across this BBQ restaurant. I decided to give them a try because I'm always down for some good local BBQ. I personally judge a good BBQ restaurant based on their ribs and Adams did not disappoint! The ribs were cooked perfectly, and even with my order being to-go the meat fell of the bone easily and tasted great by the time I was finally able to eat it. It was honestly better than some of the bigger name/chain restaurants I've been to in middle and east TN. The restaurant was very clean when I went and the staff was friendly. Adams will definitely start becoming a regular stop when going through Cartersville from now on.

Since adams was bought out it's gone down hill. Fries are mushy, on take out barely get any fries, croutons hard as a rock. They forget to put stuff in your to go orders.

I always enjoy eating at Adam's. The food is real down home good cooking no better what you get. I have been here in a wheelchair and on a walker and it is no problem for them. And the employees are always nice and accommodating. I highly recommend them. Try it, you'll like it!!

Adams BBQ - The food was great. the staff was awesome! I came with a large group, and they had about 30 minutes' notice. They treated us like they'd been expecting us! Everyone raved about it and wanted to go back.Wheelchair accessibility: We had several walkers and some wheelchairs and were very well taken care of!

Good food but not amazing. Very Southern in a good way. Portions are good and I felt that I got good value for the money. But not my favorite BBQ, though this is based on personal taste.
