Service and atmosphere was good but a bit loud, although we were seated near the bar so that wasn’t too surprising.
Food was really disappointing. I left hungry after spending $100 on my wife and I’ meal. We started with the fried pickles and hush puppies appetizer and although it was good the hush puppies were great but there were only 4. And it was served with what they called “Alabama white sauce” it was ok but very very heavy on the dill seasoning. My wife and I both got salads with our meals and were extremely dissatisfied. My spinach salad came with some kind of bacon vinegar which come to find out was some kind of lard or fat in the salad and my wife had a house salad with ranch and it had very little dressing and again the ranch was very heavily seasoned with dill? Very odd choice. Onto our main course I had a ribeye which was unseasoned but cooked correctly and I also had mashed potatoes that tasted only like rosemary without any other seasoning and wasn’t buttery or soft. A shame. My wife had a fancy version of chicken Alfredo. Very little Alfredo sauce on her pasta and chicken was fried in some kind of egg batter and tasted eggy and wet. Not good. I’m pretty easy to please and when I tried her meal I was shocked by how disappointing it all was for how much it costed.
Will not recommend.
Parking: Lots of spots on the street but during busier hours it may be a little difficult.

My family has always enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this restaurant. We have always had good experiences with the food and services. Our recent time there was no different except for a small complaint I shared with the waitress who was wonderful. The background music was too loud. When you wear hearing aids it can be difficult to participate in the conversations around the table. The waitress tried to have the music turn down some but the powers that be didn’t so it was a struggle.
That was my only complaint and I hope this wouldn’t be an issue next time.

Food was delicious. Prices for serving size was reasonable. We shared steamed muscles , house salad, and the sea scallops and shrimp. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend and will return when we go back through Cartersville.

Completely unimpressed. We tried a new place, and we will not be back.
We were told 40 minutes for the wait and waited over 50 minutes. Not awful but incorrectly quotes nonetheless. We enjoyed the atmosphere but that was all. When we were walking to the table a waitress rounded a corner and almost ran into me and my four year old and didn’t even acknowledge us at all. We were told there were no children’s drinks… no milk, juice, lemonade etc. we were told their was 7 up or tea… They charge high prices yet they serve sub par food and serve drinks in a can. Appetizer: we got pickles & pups (hush puppies). The portion size was decent but the quality of all the food was not good. The hushpuppies honestly tasted weird. None of us ate them beyond a bite. They even had a weird smell. We sat them on a plate at the edge of the table untouched. The pickles were fine. The batter was very plain so it honestly just felt like eating a regular pickle opposed to fried pickles. My husband got the ribeye. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned and bland. The steak was cooked the correct temperature but was under seasoned and was not a good cut. Extremely tough and difficult to cut. I had the blue grass burger and it was super dry. It didn’t have any sort of sauce and it was supposed to come with cheese and there was the tiniest drop of cheese on it. The baked potato was large but came with light toppings. Our sides came out wrong but were corrected. Our server came as soon as we got our food and then never came back to the table. We needed salt, pepper, toppings for potato, ice and she never came back. The hostess brought us togo boxes and another server took our plates because our server was MIA. She finally came with our bill 15 minutes after we were done. The bathrooms are just one toilet for men and another for women and the women’s bathroom was overflowing with dirty wet toilet paper and poop in the toilet and floor with an overflowing trashcan so we had to use the men’s which still was not very clean. Not once did our server ask how any of our food was and the food was just not good especially not for the price. We will not be back. On the way out the same server from when we arrived rounded a corner and almost ran into us. I said oh sorry excuse us politely and she just walked by and didn’t say sorry excuse me, anything. I have been in the service industry my entire life as a server and or service manager and I was absolutely unimpressed.

Went with a large party for a business dinner. Everything went smoothly and the food was good. I forget the servers name, but she did a great job. I will return when in Cartersville.

Four of us came to the Appalachian Grill for lunch. It was a first time visit, and we came upon high recommendations from friends. All of our meals were absolutely delicious & prepared perfectly! For an appetizer, we shared Fried Green Tomatoes. I had the Grouper with a Crab Cake. Others had Catfish & 1 had the Appalachian Grill Special. For Dessert we had Key Lime Pie & Creme Brulee.
Our amazing server was Ally. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took excellent care of us. We also got to meet the manager & the owner Jackie. It was great dining experience for all. Highly recommend the Appalachian Grill for lunch or dinner!

They are pushing the MAGA agenda in this restaurant with a Trump hat and a sign upfront. We probably left. We don’t want to pay money to anyone who openly is politically involved.
Was immediately turned off by the Maga hat city at the front of the restaurant also the pro Trump sign… For goodness sakes it’s a business quit pushing your political beliefs
