I love Cody J's. The foodis always delicious, hot, and fresh. The sweet tea and pebble ice are the cherry on top. The salmon patties are my favorite, followed closely by the meatloaf and the sloppy joe's.
I stopped by while in the area for work. Local residents stopped by and the cashiers recognized them as such. I chose something different, but it was a good option. The sweet potato pancakes were very good. The food, service, and atmosphere were all good.
I travel quite a bit with my businesses, so I'm often stopping at restaurants. I don't always like the franchise spots.

Very friendly staff (shoutout to our server Kelsey), good food, and great value for your money result in a positive dining experience for a small local restaurant .. if you live in the area and tired of the typical dining chain, give this place a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprise ??
