Every item i ate tasted exactly like i wanted it to taste and like i would have cooked it myself. Love their vegetables, chicken livers, cornbread dressing and gravy and of course fried chicken.

Definitely, would not recommend. Place appeared to be clean and staff seem courteous. My rating and recommendation is based off of food taste. No flavoring—definitely not seasoned. Salisbury steak was undercooked. Food appearance was ok. Was passing through the area, was looking for something that was not fast food and ended up here.

Food was not the best I've ever had but it was good. My husband and I come to Emerson once a year and found this place last year. My husband was super excited because on Thursday they have chicken gizzards, which he loves.
I am not a meat eater. But the veggies are good. They didn't have fried okra which I love but they had other things. The yeast rolls were really good. Green beans really good.
Good value for the money.

I didn’t hate it. Probably better if I didn’t have a frame of reference to compare it against. Mediocre at best. Wife liked it well enough. I’ll go back for her.

They need healthier choices. Baked 🐠 would have been nice. Had my gall bladder out. I can’t eat any greasy w/o paying serious consequences. That aside, healthier in general, would be appreciated.
Service-⭐️. Server did picked used plates, but no one ever came by to refill our tea. Finally asked for one. There were tea pot hers near by. Nearly went to refill my own tea. Didn’t because I wasn’t sure which was unsweetened.
Atmosphere-It was what one would expect.
Value-⭐️ ⭐️. Good enough. Two of us under $30. They offer a Senior Discount. I inquired about it. Apparently, it’s only M-F. Not weekends. I guess I magically de-age on Saturday & Sundays. I asked about a Veteran Discount. I don’t recall what she said. What day that is. If they offer one at all. Cashier thanked me for my service. I said you’re welcome.
Wouldn’t be my 1st choice, but like I said, I’ll go back for my wife.

What a great place!!!! Great family place! Kept clean! Nice & polite staff. Food was delicious!!!! Great home cooked food! Reasonably priced too.

This is an all you can eat buffet style restaurant. A waitress will bring your drink to you but you serve yourself - over and over - until you are completely full. There was a great variety of sald fixings, meats, vegetables and deserts.
The food was fresh, and well stocked and the place was clean. The workers were all friendly and seemed happy.
They serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays but we haven't tried that yet.
We don't live in this town but I am sure we will be back.
