Johnny's New York Style Pizza

Patio dinette dirty. Trash underneath tables and overflowing garbage. Staff neglects this key selling feature for patrons who prefer outdoor seating. Inside dining is no better; it also had random dirty tables. The pizza crust is too hard and the vegetables are not cooked long enough. It's like eating a dry salad in a cracker.

The best pizza in the area hands down. Whole pie or by the slice. Their subs and salads are pretty good as well. Stromboli, calzones and other dishes are always on point! Great stop off with the family

One of my staple restaurants for Cartersville. I love the atmosphere, it's
usually busy but has a real old world charm with the woodworking on the floors and benches. I LOVE THE LUNCH MENU, and 2 slices one pep one sausage is a dream for the price. A large selection if you're off the clock and the wait staff are professional. Highly recommend.

Best NY slice you can find in the area for sure. I remember their salads being better, but all-around it's pretty much our favorite place for pizza in Cartersville. Always good service too.

My wife and I enjoyed the best pizza we have ever had. It was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The dough was perfect and the best I've ever had. Toppings were perfect in portion. The service was wonderful and we felt very at home. We will be going back! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We stopped here while traveling and decided it was our favorite pizza. We stop for pizza often while traveling and their pizza was the best we have ever had. We can't wait to stop there again when we travel through there in a few weeks.

The only problem is seating is limited, although outdoor seating on the sidewalk is an option. Lines often stretch out the door on Friday evening and the place is hopping.

Johnny's New York Style Pizza is a down-to-earth, comfortable pizza joint that also sells salads, wings, and Italian specialties. My favorite lunch is a doughless slice with a small Greek salad, which is just the right amount to keep you full until dinner, without the extra heaviness of the crust.

If you do like the extra bread, the normal crust is a really good thickness, not so thick as to be too chewy, and not so thin as to be crunchy and burnt -- a really great hand-tossed thickness that's crisp on the bottom and soft under the toppings.

The marinara is great, too -- not too sweet, not too runny, just a great all around tomato flavor, and the ability to add minced garlic to the pie in the kitchen or granulated garlic at the table(or both) makes Johnny's tied with Mellow Mushroom for my favorite pizza place.

The servers at this location were very on-the-spot, and stayed on top of everything, even memorizing the orders from three picky custom-eating customers ?.

They also have beers and wine, but I don't usually order them, and the interiors are always decorated to feel the right balance of home and restaurant, with a hint of New York.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, and a great kids' menu, and the lack of expensive decor means you don't have to worry about the kids destroying anything.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp available to get to the front door, and the entire restaurant is on a single level.
