I just had butter chicken and a special dish made just for me, chicken and vegetables in a flavor packed tomato base. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic. Thank you Chef Guru for a delightful, 5 star lunch - Kamat Biryani House.

The owners are very nice and I like the menu although it could be enlarged a little, the food from samosa to curries are all very flavorful. I stuck with the Vindaloo for a long time but they now offer other spicy curries also but even their “Indian hot “ isn’t very spicy, need to up the levels a little for my tastes.The premises is very rustic and small. I would love for this place to flourish and be able to offer warmer welcoming decor, maybe alcohol if religious beliefs permit and a wider menu. They do have the right things down as the food is delicious and foodies would appreciate. It is now my go to Indian takeout.
Chicken tandoori, buttered chicken with garlic naan was very good.Update: New Chef, Sudershan Kelam known as The Guru, is cooking here and it’s great! He started here 3 days ago and I’ve added new pictures. The chai tea is tasty as well!

It’s comparatively a smaller place but it’s full of life. The owner and guys work there are supper friendly and served the food on time. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!
Food is very good. Ask for spice if you want it more authentic. Chef and staff are incredibly friendly. Prepared fresh instead of buffet style. Will be back.
