Very excellent atmosphere, food and service! The interior is very pretty and festive, the chips and salsa were very tasty and just a touch spicy, but not too much. We tried a few different dishes and they were all very good. Gabriela was our server and she was fantastic- we'll be asking for her again next weekend! The agua fresca was refreshing and served filled to the brim in a huge mug. Moderate pricing and quiet atmosphere. We were pleased and happy with our dining experience. We will definitely be back and we'll bring our friends and family! 5 Stars!

We were a party of 23 that called ahead to let them know we were coming. When we arrived, they handled everything so well; I would personally have freaked out if I knew I was going to wait on that many folks. The 2 young ladies who took care of us smiled the whole time and provided excellent service all around. Everyone was very impressed with the service we received and the food/drinks were excellent!
I made a reservation at La Palmas several days before the scheduled celebratory date (Sunday, 4th of February). The reservation was for a large group of twenty. (20) Upon arriving at the establishment, I received slight resistance concerning seating the group together. After the staff conducted a few committee meetings, my scheduled request was granted. The service was not the greatest. I will give the waitress an excuse because she was solo, along with the individual who occasionally refilled our beverages. The food looked appealing and tasted decent. Unfortunately, several hours after eating at La Palmas, five (5) individuals in our group became violently sick, including me. All five (5) experienced the same symptoms: excessive vomiting ?, diarrhea, headaches and chills. As a general precaution, I notified the health department so it would be on record. If we didn't get sick, I would have rated La Palmas with an overall rating of three (3) stars.

I wanted to give this 5 stars. The food was absolutely delicious. Priced right. And the atmosphere is beautifully decorated. The service was not near as good as all else. We were greeted and ordered immediately. The food was brought out within a few minutes. After that it went down hill. We sat there 20-30 mins after we had finished our meal to get take out boxes and the check. Fix that and you'll have a real winner!
