My family and I chose Longhorn for our first dinner out in a while and we're so glad we did! As soon as you walk in, the lighting is low and calm, but not dingy. The place smelled great so we were really excited for dinner here.We ordered our appetizers, the wings and mushrooms and they came out with the complimentary bread and it really set the tone for dinner. The mushrooms had a generous serving of cheese with them and the wings were so good it was shameful!Then came our entrees. We had the parmesan chicken and ribs combo, which was delectible. The chicken was moist and covered in cheese. It complimented the sweet bbq of the ribs as well. We had the Longhorn porterhouse, which was good, but did leave a little to be desired. The steak was too thin to be a porterhouse but they did a good job cooking it for what they had. Lastly, we had the outlaw ribeye, and that stole the show! It was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection! My husband has perfected steaks so it's hard to find a steakhouse that can compare but that ribeye was hands-down the best steak I've had outside of his. Even better than high-end steak restaurants!We ordered most of the sides to go with everything and it was all great! I definitely recommend Longhorn for your next dinner.Kid-friendliness: They had a kid's menu with crayons, the atmosphere wasn't one I'd want to shield my children from. There are a few TV's with various sports around the room that can entertain children as well.

An amazing date night experience! Our service was absolutely excellent! The food was hot and tasty with plenty of portion size. The restaurant seems clean and taken well care of. The only thing I could say or request is getting a bug zapper in the waiting area as my wife was eaten up by mosquitoes- maybe have a company spray the area around the restaurant too. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. We will be back!

4/2024. First stop this location. Friday, 6 pm, party of 4, no wait but was filling up. Steak & lobster, split NY strip with extra side, small sirloin, cook on meat was good, was not a fan of the seasoning on the asparagus, broccoli was steamed to perfect stage. Service was excellent. Would return.
Asked for my steak to be lightly seasoned and the steak was so salty I could of had a heart attack. My wife’s ribs were so dry she could not eat them. The restrooms had toilet paper all over the floor. Bad Bad Bad management

I dont normally go to a steakhouse for anything but steak. I wanted something different so I tried the chicken strawberry salad. Wow! It was wonderful. I will have it again!

Waited longer than we should have for the hostess to be at his/her station. Looked around for someone. Finally a woman comes as I shrugged my shoulders because this is ridiculous. She had an attitude taking my name and phone. Guess she didn’t like that I had to wait for her to do her job when she should have been there greeting all who come in. The next people walk in and she was all cheery. Unbelievable.. so guess what, at 3:01pm, Texas Roadhouse here we come. Pathetic

Our server at Longhorn, Shannon, did a great job taking our orders and getting our meals out to us quickly. I had the Grilled Lamb Chops and could not have been more pleased with the presentation and flavor of my meal. The roasted tomato garlic-herb sauce, creamy mashed potatoes and spinach were an excellent compliment to the chops! My wife had the filet with mushrooms and a sweet potato. Her meal was just as satisfying as mine. We try to visit this Cartersville location often and it is by far the best Longhorn that we've dined at.

The steak and potato were good, but the French onion soup was room temperature when served. The waiter commented it was the second one of the night. They brought me another one which was fine. They did comp the soup.
