Mango's Ice Cream & Antojitos

Per employee “you do know we never use gloves when cutting the fruit” very disgusting. Very disappointing, I come here literally every weekend but my experience today made me feel disgusted especially with what the worker said. First of all when we walked in the young lady seemed bothered even though we walked in 30 mins before closing. The attitude was disgusting and was very rude for us as customers to see facial expressions when we walked in. Lady starts taking our order on the iPad, n proceeds to make the mangonada with no gloves. After touching the iPad that has been touched all day by various employees. She starts by putting her whole hand in the cucumber jar contaminating everything inside, processed to cutting the cucumber and mangos with bare hands and that’s when I decide to tell her to cancel the order and that I would like a refund. She calls the other employee who is here literally all the time to get help with the refund, i notified her to why i needed a refunded and this particular employee proceeded to say, “ you do know we never use gloves to cut the fruit” that is so unsanitary and disgusting. Imagine all the germs on the tablet, they are literally touching several things throughout the day and then cuts your fruit with bare hands! I had paid with a card but imagine how disgusting it would’ve been if i paid with cash. I tell them it was unsanitary and she proceeds to then say “a lot of places do that and cut food without gloves.” Umm yea the nasty ones, the disgusting ones that don’t care about the health of others. But the fact that she sat there and stated that they never use gloves and tried to justify it by saying other places do it too is just disgusting. When I say I would come here every weekend I did. But not no more. First step would be hiring the right people with less attitudes and training employees the right way. What a disappointment.

I used to LOVE going here but after hearing about the NO GLOVE policy I’m disappointed and disgusted. Gloves should be mandatory while working with food.

Smells awful

Mango's Ice Cream is terrible, I ordered a Mangonada, I paid a little more than $7 ($9.34 with tips). The person who served me gave my order to another customer, she also blamed me and did not want to give me my order and she did not return my money. Terrible customer service.

A few minutes later I went to take the photo for this review and they apologized, which I do not accept. The woman who helped me was rude, dismissive, and terrible at resolving a problem. Still, they did not give me my money back or deliver my order.

I promise not to go back to that place. God save me from people like that.

I had the strawberries and cream with vanilla ice cream and it was out of this world their food is amazing

I'm in love with the street corn.

This place has nice comfort food and desserts. The line was practically out the door, which is a good sign. The girls behind the counter work their butt off to serve everyone in a timely manner. Just be aware there aren't many tables to sit and eat, so it's mostly standing room when the place is fullMy only complaint is that there are no descriptions for the food on the menu. Which leads me to ask "What's in this, or, what's that?", at the counter, inevitably holding up the line. I can speak Spanish, so I can imagine it being extra annoying for a non-spanish speaker.Either way, I will definitely be coming back to try more menu items.

A little late in giving things away, I had to order a pineapple water and 3 girls were attending and very seated, they had forgotten until I asked for batteries again, girls.

I got the piña colada expecting a decent size but but I wouldn’t even consider what I got small! It was worse than small and it tasted melted down even though I barely just got it and was just all ice barely any juice barley anything. Waste of money.

Went today and asked for a chicharrón preparado. The avocado was brown/rotten. I went back to tell the young girl and all the said was “sorry that’s how the color is”. You do not sell items like that. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
