I figure people only review a McDonald's if they had a weirdly terrible experience or just want to gripe, so I'm going out of my way to do this because (a) they deserve the praise (b) they deserve the star boost.
My husband teases me for going to this location in Cartersville because it is the one I will exclusively go to - even if it's out of the way - why? Because EVERY time I go, the people are just so nice at the windows. Your mileage may vary, but nearly every time, they are just so friendly and funny and warm and genuine.
Also, fries are always perfectly hot. 😋

What is wrong with this McDonald’s? Only ordered here because it was the only one on my way home. I placed an ONLINE mobile order here. once I get to the store I told the staff my name. They couldn’t find my order, so I show them the receipt on my phone. They tell me I have the wrong store. I go back to my car and place the address on the receipt into my gps. It says I’m less than a minute away. Ok so YES I did have the right store. I go back in and show them I have the right store. They say sorry and look for my order. They did in fact find my order and tell me it still needs to be paid for. I’m sorry does the McDonald’s mobile app allow you to place an order and allow you to choose to pay at the store????? NO!!!! I show them I have already paid in my gmail and on the app. They get the GM and right off the bat he tells me there’s nothing that can be done. I still need to pay. He was not helpful at all and refused to investigate the situation. He acts like I’m trying to steal from them. I show my TWO receipts!!!!!!!! He said there was nothing he could do with a mobile code! I SHOW HIM THE MOBILE CODE!!!!!!! he plugs it in and still he says I need to pay. Even after showing him with two forms of receipts he still says there nothing he can do. I try to explain I need my order and he snaps at me. Zero customer service experience, and a good GM would have just had my order made with me showing him TWO !!!!!!! (TWO)!!!!!! receipts. It’s not my fault the system was messed up. He also show have showed some restraint with dealing with the situation. If you can Maintain yourself during a Confusing situation, then you should not be a GM. I was nice and polite the whole time. I didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly just because the gm lacked the knowledge on how to Problem Solve Technical difficulties. I’ve worked for McDonald’s before and the customers was the reason I chose not to work for McDonald’s. However I didn’t not deserve to be treated that way! I was polite… and right in the situation. I just want my money back.

Today i had the best McDonald's experience! I ordered specials for my kids and I, and everything was tasty and fresh. Everytime I come in, there are 2 managers up front in the mornings Austin and baldimar, they provide such a great example of good service and they made me and my kids smile. Evrytime I come in here they have a kind greeting and are So FAST it's unbelievable!! Thank you all for being a great family restaurant and such great service !!! :)
