First time at this location in a long time and I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. Please explain why no one in the drive through notices that fries are cold! I mean absolutely barely room temperature and not just that they were saggy looking.
It may not matter to you but I like hot fries on my wonderful and delicious burger which was good! Not a win win.

I went to Steak 'n Shake in Cartersville. (I was again the first and only customer of the day) I walked in, the girl at the register briefly looked up, then back to her cell phone. No smile, no hello can I help you...nothing. I walked out, and went to Five Guys. There a young woman was carrying arm loads of supplies for restocking, smiled at me and said "Hi, give me just one minute to put this stuff down please and I'll be right there". A polite smile! A friendly welcome! As I was leaving she said, "thank you, I hope you have a great day and please come back again". CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you Five Guys! Steak 'n Shake girl...go to Five Guys and take notes!

This was my first time at a steak n shake. The patties are great, but the toppings are minimal. My main problem was with the service. The front door was disgusting. The mechanic in front of me used a work rag out of his pocket to open the door for both our parties. Granted, this was at the end of the day. The bathroom also needed a lot of attention, but the lobby was orderly.
The cashier was kind and offered combo options for how to get the things we wanted to try. Then, they made one sandwich out of my two, wrong. Then the order of the guy behind me had 2 sandwiches wrong. We passed each other repeatedly as we got the issues worked out. The staff were not pleasant about the errors, there's no telling if it was the cashier or kitchen that was the weak link.
I also got the seasonal pumpkin Oreo shake. It's okay, has that biting overly sweet syrup taste. I looked up the ingredients and it's primarily high fructose corn syrup (1st ingredient), there is a little bit of pumpkin puree in it (last ingredient). Damn near every sauce and topping are HFCS.
I will go again but maybe to a different location, and with more info about the options.

We love Steak n Shake, and we are so happy that there is one in Cartersville. We used to have to travel a good distance to get to one, but now there's one so close since we moved! Garlic Double Steakbuger is always my go-to. You can never go wrong with it.

Cartersville Steak and shake was really good I’d recommend going to there instead of Wendy’s there burgers were really good and there fries were salted and were not burnt, there were perfect.Their service was great the cashier was really nice and they were quick with my order.

Came up to Cartersville for a weekend trip and stopped here, and it was excellent! Mrs. Karen who was took our order was so sweet and kind whilst tending to every customer with a smile! The food was excellent as well!
