How do you screw up a Mushroom Swiss burger???? Overcooked meat, about the same amount of fries the McDonalds puts in a Happy Meal and the waitress tried to ween me off sweet tea cold Turkey. I wish that I had gone to McDonalds!!!!

We stopped in for Lunch on Sunday, February 25th, 2024. Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience. Upon arriving at the restaurant we stood at the hostess stand for approximately 10 minutes with several employees walking by but never acknowleding our prescence. Another group came in behind us abut 4 minutes in and also noted how noone had came to help us in an extended period of time. The restaurant was aproximately half full and there were around 5 waitresses, a bartender serving the bar and bar seating and a bus boy cleaning tables. When someone finally came up front we were given a booth. And ordered drinks and shortly after food. While waiting on our food the restaurant thinned down to around 1/4 cappacity. During that time our waitress was non existent and 4 out of 6 in our party ran out of drinks with the glasses sitting empty for almost 20 minutes before we flagged someone down and asked for refills. When the food came out, 4 out of 6 plates were cold, the brisket was so overcooked that it couldnt be eaten. On a child's grilled chees sandwich, the cheese wasn't melted. Mac and cheese was over cooked as well and had hard noodles in it that couldnt be consumed. The salad bar was nice with plenty of options to fit anyones prefference. Brunwick stew was good and I would reccomend it to anyone who likes stew. Maybe order the Brunswick stew andsalad to-go. Overall bad experience, will be a long time before we return to this restaurant if ever.

First time going here and I had the ny strip steak. It was awesome about 1 inch thick and cooked perfect medium, baked potato and okra. The young blond hair waitress lacked as she acted like she had rather be ran over then be at work. She did not keep drinks filled and got 3 of our orders screwed up so we had to swap sides around till we got it right but the food made up for her bad service. We had a party of 10 her tip would have been a lot better if she would have acted like she cared just a little bit. She never smiled or even acted like she wanted to serve us.

The waitress seen I was out of beverage and it took her 20 mins to bring me my drink, then I ordered my steak medium rare it was well, took it back and got it right that time. So all in all I rate this place 1.5. It was my very 1st time eating there also. Wont be going back!!!

My first time...I didn't try much,im on a budget. I had the brisket sandwich with fries and my husband had an appetizer (ribs and rings). The brisket was ok needed some seasonings but the FRIES were delicious.... hand-cut and fresh and served hot. I could order just fries alone.We'll be back to try more items..steak and ribs next time.

The absolute worst service we’ve had in Cartersville. I hate to do this, because the food was great, but our server was not.In no particular order:- she repeatedly rolled her eyes at us;- We asked for small plates for our appetizers that we never received;- We asked for extra napkins that we never received;- She avoided eye contact while cleaning other tables and walking past us when we were clearly trying to get her attention. I had to walk to the back of the restaurant to find her to ask for another drink;- She didn’t clear any of our plates or empty drinks. We ate our dinner with a plate of chicken wing bones and 3 empty bottles on our table;- Her overall attitude made us feel like we were annoying her whenever she was at our tableFor the last 5 years, we eat out once a week in Cartersville. This year we are trying restaurants outside of our usual rotation. Generally, if we don’t have good service, I don’t post a review. Look at my post history- it’s all good reviews for excellent service.It stinks because we truly try to support local restaurants and avoid chains. Even though we enjoyed our meals, we won’t eat there again because the service was so bad.

Came from 30 miles away. Got home and didn’t have the two sides I ordered. Called back and told the lady on phone and she just asked could I hold. After a five minute hold she never came back on. She jilted me. No apology, didn’t Care. Put me on hold knowing she was never gonna pickup my line again. I will never order from there again and I will spread my experience with others…
