Staff was super nice when I visited. The Varsity is a fun and iconic spot. The classic diner vibe and fast service make it a unique experience, and the chili dogs are a must-try. Definitely worth a visit.
Our experience was wonderful, and so was the food. Loved the slaw on my burger. We evacuated FL with 2 adults, 4 foster kids, a friend of one of our foster kids, and 5 dogs. After finally getting settled, this new location (staff) made us comfortable.
Food was not good. Onion rings were cooked to a crisp. Fries were ice cold. Burger was cold and fixed wrong. Service could have been better if they weren't so busy back there playing. Nothing was stocked. No lids. Had to wait on those. Out of several things. The FO was barely orange tasting. The chili dogs were the only thing that was good. Didn't get a picture of the other food.
