I had the beer battered Cod?? it’s was amazing. I also had the cabbage, that was great as well I had a wonderful time here. It had a hometown feel the staff was very polite and courteous! I had lemon and water. I had a great time it was very intimate and cozy! I will definitely return to try other items on the menu! Thank you!
Eggs were good, chicken fried steak a little dry, but white gravy moistened it up. Wife thought coffee tasted burnt, I thought it was ok. Staff very, very casual dress. Price reasonable. Bathroom clean.
My wife and I stopped for lunch. Anytime we are in the area we stop for a good lunch. Today she ordered the chicken gizzard dinner with fried okra, green beans and cornbread. I had the country ham, yam patties, rice with gravy and jalapeño cornbread. My only complaint was the rice was not fresh, a little crunchy. Will I eat here again, heck yes. Great service and very reasonable prices. A real down home place.
