Customer (me) calls tonight at 8:25pm and asks what time does kitchen close tonight. Response: 8:45pm. Customer (me) arrives at 8:35pm and then told “last seating is at 8:30pm” and turned away. Hope this feedback helps.

Asked for a seat at the bar, there was one left that had been overtaken by patrons already in the establishment. Hostess suggested the aforementioned seat I said sure but asked if she could ask the patrons to make room considering one person was using it as an arm rest and the another guest was leaning on it for back support. Hostess said she couldn't ask them to make room...I guess she wanted me to do her job.

I made a late lunch reservation with Fudo on a Saturday for four. The place was pretty lively while we were there and as we left, so I was anticipating a good meal.

For appetizers, I had the edamame, which was pretty standard. For my main, I ordered the devil roll and smokey salmon roll; I also ordered various pieces of nigiri (yellowtail, scallop, salmon). Between the two rolls I ordered, while I enjoyed the variety in texture from the crispy salmon skin in the smokey salmon roll, they both tasted and were presented similarly. I thought this was because I had ordered two rolls of the same ilk. Yet, my partner and family ordered another four rolls collectively, and they were all topped with the same garnishes and sauce. While the fish was quality, I felt that the rolls were overwhelmed with toppings and sauce, lacking distinction between them. I would probably stick to just ordering nigiri if I were to go again.

The waitress we had was super kind. I enjoyed the dim lit seating and decor. I will note that with my reservation, I requested booth seating. Upon arrival, I checked in and they had not sectioned out a booth for us. Though they offered to seat us in the booth after a wait, I am disappointed by the unpreparedness. I would love to have a more private spot the next time I reserve with Fudo and try their hand rolls on their menu.

They gave us an inaccurate wait time and my group of 6 had to wait an hour and a half when they told us it would be 15 minutes.

Yummy food in a loud and dark atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly, very attentive water replenisher at work. Lol
We enjoyed the dumplings and the spring rolls as appetizers. Both were very tasty.
The cucumber salad should've been peeled in my opinion and could've been a tad sweeter.
The Katsu pork was excellent and we really enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp roll.
Overall a tasty place to eat, not too spendy but the atmosphere was not my thing. A little cramped and the table we sat at had constantly people squeezing by, I was always worried the next person coming through would knock over my drink with their butt. Quite annoying.
I'm sure if we would've had a better table this could've been a 5-star review. Maybe next time.

I rated this place 4stars only because I did not have the pleasure of dining in. I ordered my food online. However, the experience online was seamless. The Tempura crab was tasty and well prepared. I also ordered shrimp and chicken fried rice. It could have used a little more seasoning, but overall, I was satisfied. Nice atmosphere, not the best of parking, good for date night. I will edit this review after I dine in.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu

Parking: Very small parking lot between the shops and other restaurants.

Last night my wife and I were at FUDO and the experience was the following:
The food was great BUT the service from our WAITER was terrible. I ordered a cucumber-based drink and honestly the taste was terrible and I told our WAITER that we didn't like the taste of cucumber in the drink and his response was with a gesture(READING A BOOK) you didn't read the menu... end of story we paid for the drink that I only tasted ....... we don't plan to return again, they need to train the staff better.

The food is decent but the girls who work in the front are extremely rude and unprofessional.

One of the staple sushi places in Atl, Chamblee to be exact. On a busy day, the parking might be a hassle. I highly recommend coming with a reservation but never waited too long if you don’t have one.
The service is always quick and great! The place itself stays quite packed and so it gets loud when crowded.

Absolutely love the sushi and everything other thing I try here. They have the best lychee martinis and their rice cakes dish is phenomenal! This is the place you take people who are visiting.

I highly recommend!!

Used to love this place but not anymore. I use to ordered take out all the time for my big family. We use to be able to place the order over the phone but not anymore. We called and they told us to use the website. We went on the website and tried multiple times with multiple different cards. Nothing worked. We called back and they said they won’t take our order over the phone but we can come in and order it. The girl on the phone really could care less about the customers on the phone.

Will not be using FUDO anymore because I cannot place any orders to go now because there website doesn’t work and they won’t take an order over the phone.

Loosing a lot of business and I’m telling Al my friends to find another joint since this place doesn’t care about there customers

Won't let you place an order over the phone. Instead, you have to place an online order, which you aren't able to do if you're paying cash. Arrived at the restaurant to order in person, was told order would be ready in 20 minutes, which is pretty annoying since I wanted to avoid waiting by ordering over the phone. Checked after 20 minutes, order was not ready. After 10 more minutes, finally got the food and it was pretty mediocre. Rude hostess as well. Won't be back.

The dynamite shrimp YESSSSS GET IT!!!! Sooo freaking delicious! Beef Fried Dumplings yesss! So good! We also had Mission Impossible Roll & Hot gossip! Both very delicious! I would say I wasn’t too fond of the rice cakes with cheese. But if you love rice cakes & love cheese get it!! It was still a great dish to try!
