It was quiet and the food was incredible. Great place to talk to someone while you eat! We got a few dishes and shared everything, it was so good!

Showed up and made our order using their QR code. 15 minutes later the server comes over and ask if we’re ready to order. I tell him that we have already ordered through the QR code and he goes back to the kitchen and we have to flag him down five minutes later asking if the kitchen had our order. He then tells us that apparently the printer in the back is not working and he’s trying to contact the manager. He did have our order on his handheld device, though. Why couldn’t he have just had the kitchen start making our order based on his device display instead of using our time to troubleshoot their printer? After 20 minutes, I finally have to ask for my Coke zero to be brought to the table. He says that our order is currently being prepped by the kitchen. We had ordered dumplings as an appetizer, but my food comes out first, then my wife, and only then did the dumplings come out 10 minutes after my entrée was served. Service was almost nonexistent, as I only really received one refill for my drink without having to ask for one. While the food was excellent, the service did leave a good fit to be desired. There was really no excuse for waiting that long to get our order back to the kitchen.

Awesomely Nerdy

The thick, chewy noodles and the dumplings were fantastic!!!

QR code ordering was very impersonal and main dishes came out before appetizers as a result. You had to pay for your food at the table before it came out. Never seen that done at a sit down restaurant. Food itself was just ok.

Horrible unseasoned, half stir fried dry chicken fried rice. No sauce, no utensils in delivered ordered. Will never order from here again that's for sure

I have been to Gu's several times in the past when it was a typical restaurant and enjoyed it thoroughly but honestly, until things change, I would not go back to this version.

This is more of a fast casual restaurant now. There's nothing wrong with that but just warning you. Not only do you have to order via the QR code but you have to tip and close out the tab before finalizing the order. Again, nothing unusual for a lot of restaurants but a far cry from the Gu's of the past.

You want more rice? Go through the app. You forgot to order chili oil? Go through the app. To be fair, we didn't test the staff to see if we could get some chili oil without going through the app but it's listed as an option when ordering (and not free) so we didn't bother. I feel like I shouldn't have to deal with this existential crisis. And really, it should already be on the table.

As for the food, the hot and sour soup was lukewarm at best. Disappointing. The Chongqing chicken noodle was decent as was the spicy crispy beef. Food came out quickly but there was no interaction with the staff--no water refills unless asked, no attentiveness, etc. They are there only to deliver your food. If the food was amazing, it would totally be worth it but in this case, based on what Gu's was and the quality this last time, it's not.

The food is decent but this place is pricey. They think a lot of their dumplings and charge accordingly. I’ve never been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t include rice with the order of an entree. They charge you extra for that.

There’s not a traditional server here, you order using a QR code at the table.

We were greeted & seated immediately with a menu & advised “ plz scan the bar code for your food”. The atmosphere was clean … cozy … & airy .. with a sense of the food being prepared in the air. General Tso, 2 egg drop soups, 6 Chicken
style dumplings were ordered …. & when ordering from a bar code menu ….. CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED.
Our food was served fast… excellent flavor …. good & tasty😋👍🏽
