Hi tech

Horrible experience. Asked the waiter if the Mongolian beef is sweet. He said no it’s not. Ordered it and tried it and it tasted sweeter than a cupcake. Asked waiter why and he says oh they put sugar in it.. even after acknowledging their mistake management decided not to do anything about it. Overall all the food was horrible with no flavor. Spent over 140$ and I rather have gone to Panda Express. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

The food is very delicious, quite spicy, but you can control the level when ordering, everything is very clean

Based on several positive reviews I saw on-line, I visited Gu's Kitchen a few days ago and ordered a spicy Sichuan Chicken dish and a spicy Sichuan beef dish as take-out. I was very disappointed to find that neither had the Sichuan pepper corn's numbing taste or chili spiciness. There are many other Chinese Sichuan Restaurants in Atlanta that serve these same dishes, but much better.

Food is okay, not too bad, sometimes the food is too dry or blend. But overall its a good place to eat.

One style of dumpling with choice of filing and level of spice. Some interesting choices along wit Murican 'Chinese" type stuff, I guess it's aimed at a different clientele than me.
Order off a QR code....OK. I guess that makes it simpler but...
Dunno. It asks for a tip when ordering.
I like to hit Buford Highway for something different and (Hopefully) unexpectedly delightful/interesting...
This felt like eating in a Starbucks. If that's the intent- Nailed it.

Awesome spicy dumplings and noodles. Tons of flavor not just a bunch of spice.

The food was great, definitely more of a quick service / takeout place. Ordering and paying all from our phone was very convenient.

Terrible experience all around. Asked for chicken dumplings and received pork dumplings. When I complained, the manager refused to admit his error and explained to me that “it’s definitely chicken” – I’ve been eating here for years now, and the meat is clearly pork. He did not take the entree off the bill because his boss would make him pay for it (laughable excuse…). Sat there for 40 minutes before they brought out our soups, never received refills for our drinks – the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Not blaming the sole server, but pretty annoying that the manager would refuse their mistake. Won’t be back, even though the food is usually pretty good.

Quality has gone down, food is watery and flavorless especially at the high price point for cheap ingredients.

Frozen breaded chicken nuggets fried in tepid oil does not make for a good experience.

I visited this Chinese restaurant after hearing so much hype about its “authenticity.” Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered a noodle dish that was decent but far from special—it had a single tiny slice of bok choy and no other vegetables to speak of, leaving it feeling incomplete. The spring roll was average, certainly not the best I’ve had in town.
The biggest letdown was the tea. I was expecting an authentic Chinese tea experience, but instead, I was served a teabag from Rumi’s in a Gu’s mug. That really killed the mood for me.
While the food was good overall, I wouldn’t call this place a hidden gem on Buford. It’s fine for a meal, but if you’re looking for true authenticity, you might want to look elsewhere.

Fabulous food here. The Zhong style pork dumplings and handmade sweet and spicy thick noodles were so so delicious. The sauce was so vibrant with flavor, and the dumplings and noodles tasted very chewy and homemade. This is a staple for Asian cuisine on Buford Highway!

Terrible customer service.
Placed an order and got no rice. Was told that rice has to be ordered separately. I've never had to order rice with my mapo tofu before at any other restaurant. No other Chinese place would give you mapo tofu with no rice. Was refused to be allowed to speak to a manager, the person on the phone refused to give me her name. Was then told a manager wouldn't be in for 3 days.

No one bothered to mention no rice would included and I was told that I should have known, even though it was my first time ordering. Will be my last time ordering. Absolute cheap skates to charge for rice when their tofu dish is over $16.
